Hotel Agua Azul Benidorm.. On arrival
They take your bank card details due to any damages to the room etc. Hotel is clean & staff are friendly.
Kettle / Fridge & safe in the room. The safe is free to use you just put your own 4 diget code in..Food was a bit of a hit / miss but always something for everyone to eat. My husband is a very fussy eater he lived on Chips & salad. I like to try different things you won't go hungry. They did have English breakfast every morning which was nice they also had Spain bacon if you wanted it. They have a Fresh cooking station so you can see your food being cooked. Drinks are ok but very weak. We don't drink much at home but like to have a drink whilst on holiday. Entertainment was not very good but watchable. Rooms are nice have to be careful of the glass that devides the bathroom sink from bedroom. I did walk into it head first in the middle of the night 😂 Was not laughing when I did it but was funny after I stopped swearing.. Alot of people were saying the lay out of it can be quite dangerous & they would not re book due to that fact. Toilet has frosted glass door When someone is sat on the loo if you have the light on then you can see them / everything but if light is off you can't seen them but you can still see what your doing with light off. We was on the 4th floor second day of being there we had loads of little ants running around on the side near the kettle & on the bed & on the floor We informed reception straight away & they sent molly maid & the maintenance man straight up to the room. Maintenance man was putting sealant around the floor in the room bathroom & shower to close the cracks up molly the maid moved the bed & cupboards sprayed ant spray & did a full bed change. They acted very quickly to solve the issue obviously ants 🐜 are out of their control really & it's just one of those things. I was bitten by them & could not stop itching. Molly maid thought it was bedbugs at first but I showed her pictures of the ants so she could understood that they were not bedbugs. We seen a cockrachoch running around in the restaurant at breakfast one morning again not hotels fault just one of them things we put a glass over it & a guy who was staying in hotel took it outside as the lady who was cleaning plates away would not touch it she said she does not like them 😂 Entertainment / Bar / Restaurant / toilets are all on one floor downstairs. It was ok as not very busy due to it being out of season but I guess it would get very crowded in season. Horrible smell coming from the toilets as you got out the lifts to go to Bar / Restaurant a little off putting when going for food.
Pool are. Only one big pool at the hotel & sunbeds are far too close to eachother they are all arranged Tightly next to eachother around the pool. Pool looked nice but we never went it They have a small gym we had a look in but we did not use it... Workmen were out the front across the road digging the path up was quite lound if the balcony door was open but when closed it blocked some of the noise out. We was not informed about this.. We did have a nice time but don't think we would come back to this hotel again.

The so called bathroom is none existent, just a glass panel at the side of the bed with the sink behind it

Just home after our 3rd visit to agua azul....excellent hotel..staff so friendly and can't do enough for you....food really good and great choice.....was entertainment on....some good some ok (normal hotel entertainment )but on each occasion we have always met a great group of people and had a brilliant night...Will defo be back

The Agua azul is fantastic for disabled facilities....Lots of charging points available for scooter users, and no steps into hotel also the hotel is directly opposite the bus drop off point...showers have one small step into them but they are really big and have hand rail to hold onto in them.. Staff very helpful...we have just returned and had no issues

We are staying at the Agua Azul in the old town we normally stay in the new town. What a fantastic hotel it is spotless, and the rooms are lovely another plus is free safe in room and also a fridge, the staff are amazing and will go out of their way to help u with anything u need we will definitely be booking this hotel again

Just back from two weeks staying there beautiful hotel and staff are amazing, good food and very friendly staff you will not be disappointed. 10mins from old town and 5mins to the beachfront, 15 to 20 mins to strip. it sits right on the border of new town and old town, fantastic hotel.

Just home after our 1st time in Benidorm, stayed in the hotel agua azul, overall, I would give this hotel 10/10 for everything from customer service to rooms food and location for what we needed. Will certainly be back there next

Had a lovely stay here. Our room was spacious and clean with a large terrace (we stayed in a superior twin). The staff were friendly helpful. A nice breakfast especially the hash browns and english bacon. Always looked to be plenty of room around the pool. Made me a beautiful birthday cake for my partners birthday that cost €20. Free cake and cava left in room which I think was a very nice touch.

We only came home yesterday from the Agua Azul after being there for the week AI. There were 10 of us and we had a great time. Fab staff and lovely rooms. No hassle getting a sun lounger at any time of the day, and the dining room was never chaotic like some places. We had a great week, but everyone has their own views on hotels which they like.
The glass bathrooms - I was with my husband so it was fine. If you have the light on all you can see is your legs at the toilet area lol. Our group never complained about it so it must have been fine for them as well. It was a bit strange with the panel between the bed and sink
