I just visualise a technician in the studio working his ass off many hours after the band had left. They lost the raw aggression of bands like Free, The Taste, Thin Lizzy, Led Zepplin, Wishbone Ash ....I could go on for hours. Metal was never my thing so I think around that time I started to take more of an interest in a more Country influenced style of Rock like Bob Seger or Lynyrd Skynyrd.
