Eunice O'Grady - Stayed at The Riviera about 4 times & from the minute we arrived the staff couldn’t do enough for us, food was Lush & restaurant staff are so friendly. Rooms are bright & modern with memory foam mattress toppers on the beds. Lovely terrace to sit out & have a few cocktails ( not to badly priced either) in a good location, not far from the beach & prom & nightlife not far away, all in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit more upmarket hotel. The only downside is the pool is on the small side. (Adult only).
Ann Harm Stayed here 4 times the food is lovely ( the sweets are to die for) rooms are spotless .The staff are so helpful and friendly . The bar prices are good also, and the terrace at the front is a great place to sit and watch the world go by , it also has an entertainments room below that gets some good turns on .it only has about 90 rooms so it never feels crowded . A lovely central hotel.
Peter Linda Woodcock Am staying here at moment for 3rd time Exclusively for adults only Small well managed hotel only 9 floors - 90 rooms Exceptionally clean and well maintained Food very good great choice for all mainly caters for the U.K market Only a small pool area which is not well looked over so sun gets round just after midday Main lacking area is a lounge for guests to sit in Well appointed beer terrace when the suns out Recent addition is the club room which shows god acts In my opinion. One of the best hotels in Benidorm great location not the cheapest but u get what u pay for.
Janice Coulter Fab hotel food great, staff terrific the only downside the pool only gets the sun for a couple of hours a day x
Diane Rae Gubb The best hotel we have stayed in. The only thing I can add to the great reviews above, is that a kettle is supplied in each room & also the lovely walk in shower. Our room overlooked the Rosamar so we could enjoy their entertainment. The terrace bar of this hotel has cooling fans spraying a fine mist of water over you whilst sat in the sun, having a drink and listening to a daily live group. Its open to anyone & really pleasant.I also like the idea that you can only access the lift with your room key. 10/10
DiBlack - I found this hotel to be amazing. It was spotlessly clean and very central. The food was of a lovely standard, and the dining room was nice and relaxed. Great onsite club too. I found the prices to be very reasonable. Nice staff, nothing was to much for them, and they were all really friendly. The rooms are modern, with free tea and coffee facilities, replaced every day. It has a lovely outside terrace. It was cool when we stayed and they even had little fleece blankets to cover you, so you could still sit outside. I couldn't fault this hotel whatsoever. Would definitely return.
Mystery Shopper Review - I was really looking forward to going to The riviera as it has had many great reviews but after staying there I dont know how it is voted No 1.
The Hotel itself is very nice, its very clean and the staff are friendly. The room has lovely power shower, kettle with tea tray, fridge and lovely comfortable beds. It was a quiet hotel too, didnt get woke up at stupid o clock times !
But its downfall.....The Food ! Cold or just warm plates. Not much choice of meals and the meals that were there wernt that appealing. On a morning the breakfast was always just warm, with lukewarm beans, tomatoes, sausages etc just not very nice at all. Then main meals, again warm food and not great choices. On some days it took them ages to replenish the food, especially in the salad bar with meat and cheeses. The dessert counter had the same desserts almost every day and quite often ran out of the hot dessert and it then took ages to replace.
We didn't use the pool so cant comment but it was small.
We went into the bar and seen couple of good acts, but why oh why do they put the same show on a couple of times a week ? if they want residents to stay then change acts each night and dont have same act 2 times in any one week. We would have quite happily just stayed in the hotel on an evening but due to the fact shows were repeated we ended up going to different venues.
Id give The Riviera 6 out of 10 based on poor food and repeating of shows !
Charlie Brown - I don't understand people's obsession with the Riviera. The pool (if you can call it that) is very small, often shaded in the day. The beds aren't particularly comfy, the linen and towels are cheap and of poor quality. The rooms are incredibly small with little storage space and if you're facing the front of the hotel your subjected to hideous music and announcements from 9.00am till gone midnight.
The only selling point for me was having English TV in the rooms.
David Smith - 2 things. Firstly I don't get why riviera is so highly rated! Yes nice newish hotel but small pool area, bar there isn't really one. Food was no better than a few hotels I've visited! Just saying in my opinion after one visit. Do often have a drink on the terrace though.
Maxine JS - Just got back today from a week at The Riviera, it's a lovely hotel can't fault it, nice breakfasts, lovely modern rooms, very friendly staff and great security, you have to use your room keycard to operate the lift so it felt very safe and nice to know no scumbags could get up to the rooms.
Diane Rybarczyk - Ask for low number then you at back of hotel so can't hear much noise. 01-07 best rooms for quietness. Even numbers overlook the pool get sun morning, odd numbers get sun afternoon. Xx
Jo Catherine - Food great at riviera and very helpful with my food allergies. Restaurant manager came to me every meal checked something suitable to eat and at times brought me something straight from the kitchens.
Just got back from Benidorm yesterday. The Riviera is a great hotel stopped there a few times. In my experience fantastic customer service , food is the best that I have had from a 4 star hotel , entertainment outside / inside brilliant , downstairs music lounge is a great bar, front terrace excellent to top your tan up get a drink and people watch and modern well decorated clean rooms. The only negative is the pool it's small but a lot of other hotels are as well apart from pelicanos, melia etc we've stopped there out of season between October and March so hasn't bothered us. It's expensive but you get what you pay for a fantastic experience
Just come back from the Riviera Beach, fab hotel it outclasses anything I've stayed in before in Beni. The restaurant is just that, not a school canteen. Food is top quality, well presented, plenty of choice & hot. Hotel is spotlessly clean, professional friendly staff & great entertainment. Kettle with welcome tea/coffee in the room & toiletries. Secure safe & card access to floors via lift. Will definitely be returning, highly recommended..
