Jet2 dropped us off at the Agua Azul Hotel. These apartments are very basic and there are little to no facilities but they are in a great location to explore the Old Town.

Basic, and clean. We stay there all the time. You can use the bar and pool area of the Avenida hotel across the way from them. Great area of Old Town, and not that much of a walk to the strip, if that is your cup of tea.
Friendly staff too. We fly with Jet2 so get dropped 5 mins away opposite Agua Azul and quick walk round and you are there. Steps at front door to reception.

They are OK no pool, no bar in the apartments stayed twice, but don't think I would return.

Excellent apartments. Very clean, staff friendly. Can use hotel facilities across the road. They have all facilities you need. You have to ask for hairdryer at reception. If you need anything just ask they are happy to provide. Heating/ air condition unit only in sitting / dining room. They just need updating. The only problem is you can hear all the noise from outside night and day. Has T V but only B B C news. Drop off point bottom of road McDonald's. 100 yards walk.

Make sure you don't get one that's facing the wall ask for a room with a street balcony and you can use all varsities of the hotel opposite.

We stayed in the avenida apartments from 19th September until the 26th. We’ve stayed before and always found it lovely and clean.

The first night we arrived we was told our room we requested wasn’t available due to a fault, which can’t be helped. So was told to stay a night in the hotel. No problems with this other than wanting to unpack and settle, but again can’t be helped. The day after we could move to room 411 and was told this was as equally a nice a room as the one we had originally requested. It was horrendous. The floors were filthy, every other tile was smashed, the bathroom only had a shower which was dirty. The room itself was directly next to the elevator which was so loud even in the middle of the day. My partner suffers from frequent migraines so the constant noise of the lift would be a literal pain. So after complaining to a lady at reception who was rude, we changed rooms to 409. This room was slightly cleaner other than the cigarette ash all over the bathroom floor, the broken sofa arm, the air conditioning not fully working, the toilet on a continuous flush and the cockroaches that would run out towards your feet. This was a better room.

We headed back to the hotel as we still had our key for the room and had left a case in there. To open the door to a woman getting changed and her husband unpacking all while they ignored our suitcase in the corner. Apparently they’ll move someone in whilst your bed is still warm 👍🏻

About night 2 of our holiday we got a stag party next door of about 6/7 lads. Even though stag/hen groups aren’t allowed, this was allowed. They was very noisy and played music until very late at night right next to the wall for our bedroom. At this point we didn’t know what was better noise, the stag group or the lift (at least the lift made different noises compared to the stag group playing the same 3 songs).

One of the days we decided to go into the hotel for our lunch for half an hour to come back to our towels folded at the bar. It’s one rule for one here and one for another apparently. Other guests who would leave their towel a few hours to come back to it still on their lounger but we go for lunch in THEIR hotel and they move our towels 🙃

Very disappointing to say the least. When we’ve paid quite a lot for our holiday and was given below sub-par it’s shocking. It really ruined our holiday and as a treat for my birthday it spoiled that too

I stay there for a month at a time. Great location, near to the beach and the cafes/bars/restaurants of Old Town yet just a short walk into New Town. They are very clean but a little dated. Cooking facilities are basic, two rings, a microwave, toaster and kettle. Clean towels every couple of days and clean bedding and a cleaner every three days. Washing machine and dryer downstairs next to reception (4€ each). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Enjoy!

Alistair Gillespie - Yes nice. The hotel is opposite the front entrance and the food buffet there is nice.

Jose Maria Garrigan - Yes,basic but clean. Would definitely stay again they do ask for 100 £/€ deposit but no issue getting it back

Ann Mulholland - Stayed here Christmas before lockdown they were fine spacious good central location didn't cook but adequate I think if you choose to can use facilities in their hotel over street no issue just I prefer new town

Tazj French - I loved it here watch people from your balcony and nice little jacuzzi and roof top view food was absolutely fine close to everything I would go back

Julie Kocot - We’ve stayed there a couple times now. Rooms are dated yes but very clean and the staff are brilliant. You have the use of their hotel across. The pool was small and on roof top just short of some shade/parasols but the beach is only a short walk away.
