Stayed a couple of times. Brilliant location if you can get a sea view, the city view is on a narrow side street and not interesting. Basic hotel, 2 star I think, but very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Limited facilities but being directly on the beach and in the midst of Old Towns bars and restaurants more than makes up for that.

we've stayed at Bilbaino 5 times, it's a lovely little hotel...basic but staff friendly and its in a fantastic position for the beach and old town...book a front room with a sea view.

Booked it last minute and glad i did.

I went self catering, had a sea view room on the 3rd floor, double bed and balcony looking out to the beach / peacock island, spacious power shower, extra large towels, room cleaned on a daily basis. Nice comfy double bed , fridge in the room, ample wardrobe space and safe.

Two minute walk into old town and tapas alley, restaurants, bars, supermarket, would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Clean hotel / friendly staff made me feel welcome. Being early November the hotel was quiet, up early on the morning to watch the sun rise and late at night / early hours sitting on the balcony having a night cap, watching the world go by.

Kept the room on due to early morning flight and only had to pay an extra €10:00,

*** Just to add it also has a stair lift for disabled people to get up the short flight of steps to reception
