    Malc B 12th July - I will begin by apologising to the staff for disturbing their day by calling in for a meal

    A great restaurant, totally ruined by staff attitude.

    Setting Excellent, Food Excellent.

    BUT

    We were greeted with a finger point to show us were to sit. Then without a hello, two menus were thrown onto the table. Then ignored for 20 minutes while the waitress was cleaning. When she did come to take the order, she seemed positively pissed off that she had to answer questions.

    Meanwhile a 2nd waiter who really didn't want to be there was serving others and grunting at her in request of an invitation to show him who's order he was serving. Evidence of evolution I suppose.

    One guy with a bald head and a beard did appear before we left and his attitude to the customers was 100%. I suggest you put him in charge of training the others.

    Guys, the customer is the purpose of your work, not an inconvenience.
  • Wow! What an experience…AND not a good one!

    30th June - We are a family of 3 and took our parents here as a thank you for having us. First of all, there was a black hair in our melon and Serrano ham starter then after a lengthy wait for the mains, the chicken & goats cheese lasagne was clearly microwaved as the fork wouldn’t go through the rock hard bottom.
    When I called the waiter/manager over, he clearly rolled his eyes (as I had already complained about the hair in the starter).

    I ordered a large glass of wine then, before the starter, I ordered another glass. I had not finished my first glass but the waiter/manager came over and proceeded to top my glass up with about a quarter of the quantity, yet tried to charge for the same amount.

    The prices aren’t cheap (for Benidorm) compared to other places so we thought we’d be in for a pleasurable experience but, after speaking to the waiter/manager, it was clear to see he was not interested one little bit. The bill was just shy of €100 and he took around €1.50 off for the discrepancy in wine volume.
    I am very understanding and am reluctant to complain but when I do, im of the opinion that it is how a problem is rectified that can add to a satisfying experience, yet this was not witnessed on this occasion.
    We were all very deeply disappointed and would definitely NOT return.

    Five star food for a fraction of the price. Fabulous menu with generous servings. Starters, mains and a home made dessert. complimentary Baileys type drink at the end of the meal. Food quality amazing Take a look at their menu of the day €15 from 1pm-5pm. Cant wait to go back.

    The service, ambiance and food was second to none. Naomi, our waitress, couldn’t have been more attentive if she tried. Really good fun.


    We shared two portions of garlic chilli prawns to start with homemade bread, garlic butter and aioli.


    Keith enjoyed a large rack of barbecued ribs, Pat devoured her chicken in peppercorn sauce whilst I devoured a tuna steak. When I ordered it rare, Naomi offered to reheat if it wasn’t cooked enough - fortunately it was and melted in my mouth.


    Absolutely devine and well worth a visit if you’re looking for a fab eatery in the new town.


    Certainly going to be bringing the Beni famlam here.


    Thanks again - we will be back!


    (It’s near the indoor market and pretty much next door to KFC)
