Was staying in the Santa faz last week lovely hotel ideal for a couple of nights adults only x

this property is only a 2-minute walk from a golden-sand beach (Poniente Beach).

My partner and I stayed here for a week over Benidorm's Gay Pride Festival.

We arrived late (about midnight) and the check in was very friendly and very quick. I had requested a large room on a high floor when booking and we were in room 403 on the 4th floor (5 floors in total). Our room was large and even had a third bed in it which was great for setting stuff on. The aircon and TV remotes were €10 deposit which was returned at the end of our stay (remember to bring them down to reception when leaving!).

The safe key was a €10 deposit and €2 per night so €24 in total and the deposit was returned on check out.

The reception area of the hotel was modern and clean for a 2 star. The staff were friendly.

Our room was a bit dated but it was very clean and had 3 single beds. We pushed two of them together to make a double. The mattresses were very comfortable and the sheets were very clean. There was a double wardrobe with 4 drawers and a safe in it and plenty of hangers. There was also a small writing desk with a chair. We put a towel over it and used it as an ironing board! I usually request one but the table was a perfect size and right beside two plug sockets. There was also a socket between the two beds and where the TV was and also in the bathroom.

A fridge would have been great but there wasn't one. You could get cold drinks from reception though to take to your room. Large bottle of water was €2.

Our room had two small balconies. Just enough room to put a chair. There were no chairs on either of our balconies but when I requested one it was delivered the next morning.

The aircon in our room worked great. You had to put your room key in the slot for the electric to work. A wee tip I have is to cut a piece of cardboard from a cigarette packet the same size as your room key and put it in the slot. It worked great in this room and meant we could leave the aircon on when leaving the room!

The bathroom was adequate size and was very clean. Sink with large mirror above it and electric socket for shaver etc. There was also a soap dispenser. We had a full sized bath with a shower over it and shower curtain. The shower was great and very powerful although sometimes it took the hot water a minute to come through. Once it did there was plenty of it.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the old town and could be noisy but we were out every night so it didn't bother us at all ! There is no pool but you are only a minutes walk from the beach.

The cleaners were excellent and very friendly. Always had a smile on their face. They came everyday to clean the room and make the beds and you get fresh towels everyday.

Check out was quick and easy and the deposits for the remotes and safe key were both returned without any problems.

We had a great time staying at The Hotel Santa Faz and would definitely return again.

Caleb Martin Yes it was very clean. They do breakfasts but we never booked the breakfast option. So many places in the old town to get a nice breakfast at great prices. We had a room on the 5th floor. 2 balconies although they were very small. Only enough room to set a chair sideways on it. We had a third bed in our room which was handy for setting stuff on. I think house keeping came round every day. The bathroom was clean and had a great shower. There was air con in the room. No fridge but you could buy cold bottled water from reception at any time night or day. It’s only a 2 star but a very good one. I would definitely stay again as the location is excellent ?
