Absolutely Amazing / Wallace YoungWent there on opening night Fri 27 June and again on Wed 2 July. Had 5 different curries over the 2 nights and both times had the safron rice and chapattis - everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Fantastic service with very friendly and informative staff, tastefully decorated (black and orange theme) and really nice crockery etc.…

We tried The Saffron Lounge (by The Casino on Avenida Del Mediterraneo. It was amazing. Every dish was really tasty. Lovely friendly staff, clean surroundings. Would highly recommend.

Well it's not often i do food reviews you all know my favourite place's
Last night we tried a new restaurant The Saffron Lounge ( use to be Isidros , all you can eat ) on the Mediterrano
The very modern setting is both spacious fully air-conditioned and comfortable
I've got to say in all the years I've been in Benidorm and we have eaten in nearly every curry house , the food in this restaurant was out standing, not pre cooked not stood prepared in a fridge it was all cooked fresh to order the chicken just melted in my mouth
They do a set menu 15.95 ( i think you get set mixed starter , choice of main, rice and nann and icecream) we went decided to push boat out and go Ala carte
I had chicken chatt Des Bellamy-Wright chilli chicken for starters , main course i had tandoori chicken sizzler and nan bread and roti , pilar rice and a portion of chips a large bottle of water and a bottle of wine
We don't normally do desserts but Harvinder ( known as Harry the owner ) insisted we try there delicious home made ice cream
I've got to say in such a busy place he was very attentive and checked in on every table and couldn't do enough to help all this for less than 60 euros it's definitely worth a try if you don't know where it is it's on same side of the Mediterrano as casino just further up on the next round about , here's a few pictures we took and trust me the plates were empty when we finished it's that good we will be going again this week xx
