    ,

    Just want to warn people.

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday in Benidorm .

On our last day we decided to go to Daniello de Luca shoe shop, fab shop with very cheap shoes. I had taken a shoe to the front and had it paired up and was waiting and waiting and waiting some more for them to check another shoe.

In the end we decided to leave as the shop was busy, my friend bought two pairs of shoes. I put the shoes back where I found one.

We carried on shopping, nipped back to the hotel and dropped our shopping off and returned to the shop, probably an hour later.

As I went to the till to request the other shoe so I could finally buy them, despite the obvious language barrier, it was very clear she ( presuming the owner ) started to accuse me of stealing the other shoes, she told me she had camera evidence. I told her to show me this evidence as I have never stolen anything in my life ( apart from a dog many years ago, in fact I didn't class that as stealing, just part of my job as an animal rescuer ) .?

The young girl in the store was a little more polite and tried to explain what me and my friend were being accused of.

I finally took the assistant back to where I had put the shoes that I was accused of stealing.

Finally after 30 minutes of being humiliated, she apologised.

All I'm saying is, be aware that if you buy from this shop, keep your receipt and don't make the mistake I did in trying to be helpful in putting the shoes back.
