From November 2026, Spain is introducing a deposit system on drinks containers 👇
🥤 Buy a drink → pay +€0.10
♻️ Return the bottle/can → get your €0.10 back
Sounds like a tax… but it’s not ❌
It’s actually a refund system to boost recycling
Right now, Spain only recycles around 40% of bottles 😬
The goal? 👉 90%+ like other European countries
So this means:
✔️ Cleaner streets & beaches
✔️ Less plastic waste
✔️ More recycling
BUT…
❗ If you...🇪🇸💶 NEW LAW IN SPAIN… You’ll pay extra for EVERY bottle?!More
