It is best to use the guide when you are here for accuracy and even then, check with the bar before purchasing a compulsory drink as they can change last minute. At this point it will only give you an indication of what might be available. One exception to the rule is the shows at Benidorm Palace. I sympathise with you as both Bass Players and drummers have been hit hardest by the technology that now replaces them. I also believe entertainment has suffered as a whole. Years ago when we had a lead singer who was often a great showman as well as a singer being backed by good musicians made for a great night of entertainment. To-day there are many musicians who are having to depend solely on their skill as a musician while their singing or showmanship may be lacking. Likewise there are singers who can not give the same standard of performance because they are restricted to what the backing track says rather than reacting to an audience.
