You will find all sorts of things  on sale such as clothes, shoes, towels and blankets, ceramic pots and lots of lovely local fresh fruit etc. Prices do tend to be fixed and not a lot of bartering takes place but if you feel you are being charged over the odds give it a go.

Just had a wander round what I call 'the other wednesday outdoor market'. This one is just behind the Terralta apartments on the outside of the old town. I have no idea what it is called but I believe it is sited on a sports field? It is a lot more 'Spanish' than the one in the new town with very few touristy stalls doing the usual souvenirs. Quite a few fresh fruit and veg stalls and lots of clothes stalls. Hot chickens etc. on sale with a couple of sit down cafes. Word of warning though, shin guards are recommended due to the Spanish granny, shopping trolley and robust attempts to get through any gaps bigger than 6 inches wide. ?
