SATE ASSISTANCE IN BENIDORM

SATE Assistance in Benidorm : 🛡️ Support for Tourists When You Need It Most - S.A.T.E. stands for Servicio de Atención al Turista Extranjero — the Foreign Tourist Assistance Office. It's a special unit of the National Police that provides personalised support to tourists who have been victims of crime or other distressing incidents while visiting Benidorm.

🗣️ Assistance is available in English, French, German, and Russian.
🤝 The service is offered in collaboration with the Tourist Board.

What Can SATE Help You With?

If you experience an unfortunate event during your stay, SATE can support you with:

  • 📝 Reporting a crime

  • 💳 Cancelling credit cards or important documents

  • 🏛️ Contacting your embassy or consulate

  • 📞 Getting in touch with family or helping locate them

  • 🧳 Reporting lost items

  • 🧠 Access to psychological support

🚫 What SATE Doesn't Cover

SATE does not deal with traffic incidents. For these, please contact the Local Police and ask for the "atestado" department.

The aim of SATE is to ensure tourists feel safe and supported. It reassures visitors that, even in difficult situations, they have somewhere to turn for help — in their own language — which reinforces Benidorm’s image as a safe and tourist-friendly destination.
