<br />I had the lady’s dinners and I must admit it was a gorgeous dinner. I say that as a trained cook myself. So I’m funny about eating Sunday lunch out. 5 stars from me

Must be Colmars for Sunday lunch. €6 for a perfectly cooked Sunday Lunch. It's not all about the amount on the plate, it's more the quality of the food. Keep up the good Sundays Colin & Mark.

Showboat Sunday Lunch
Not had the opportunity to eat at the Showboat for a while but after seeing their advert for Sunday Roast on the group we decided to pop in.
Glad we did this has to be the best Sunday Roast we have had for a long long time and great value at only 10.95 for 4 courses.
Proper home made soup, a great choice of starters, beef, pork, chicken or Lamb for main course. The beef was cooked to perfection and the Yorkshire puddings were excellent (not the standard Aunt Bessie´s). Plenty of fresh vegetables including cauliflower cheese, a choice of Roast or Mash potatoes or a mix of both.
A lovely choice of desserts to round off the meal.
Nice friendly staff that were attentive but not too intrusive and just the right amount of time in-between each course, not too rushed, or too slow.
After passing our compliments onto the owner, it was nice to see that these were passed straight to the kitchen staff.
Highly recommended, we shall be returning soon very soon.

Sunday Lunch at the Don Pancho Hotel - As with all things in life you get what you pay for. The dinning room is beautiful, fully laid tables, wonderful staff who are all friendly and who genuinely look as though they are enjoying their work.

This is a buffet so you can help yourself to as much as you like, just make sure you don´t over do the early courses as you will need some room for dessert.

The selection of salads is excellent, I am not a big salad lover but still came away with a full plate. A choice of two wonderful soups, bread and croutons.

The main course, a good selection of meats, carved to order, a massive selection of vegetables including - sprouts, green beans, cauliflower dishes, carrots, potatoes and even something a bit different such a peas in sour cream and tempura vegetables, all of which were hot and perfectly cooked, if you are a vegetarian you can easily fill your plate, Yorkshire puddings and plenty of gravy and various sauces to enhance your meal if you wish.

Desserts, again a massive choice everything from ice.cream to baked apples, good old traditional apple crumble and custard, beautifully laid out to tempt you to try a bit of everything, lots of fresh fruit also available.

After that you can sit back and enjoy a coffee on the terrace.

All in all an excellent choice for a Sunday Lunch in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.
