The food is great and there is always plenty of choice for everyone.
The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels if you need them.
The hotel is only 2 minutes from levante beach
I didn't like the food because the meats and fish were full of bones and the buffet stuff was terrible, no where near the quality of Servigroup hotels
Hand on heart, thats the worst food I've had in Beni. The rooms are great and the staff are really good though, and the hotel is lovely too 🙂
I’ve not had any problems but my husband does say they can rush the grill things at times and slightly under cook. But if he doesn’t like what is on his plate he goes gets something else. Being a chef himself he can appreciate how difficult it is catering for a large amount of people when you are doing many varieties.
We stayed all invlusive for 4wks in january and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone .
Just back Thursday from Port Benidorm and must say what a lovely hotel it is
It’s a breath of fresh air to find a hotel this good , can’t wait to return in a few weeks
Kate Dey - 15th July 2018
We arrived back yesterday from here and the only problem was there is not enough sun shades around the pool 🙁 everything else was FAB xx
Kerry Wood - 21st June 2018
Close to everything, lots of pubs around, lovely hotel, very clean, friendly staff, food average, breakfast nice though, lifts a bit annoying at busy times & i wouldn’t have liked a glass bathroom but luckily didn’t have one.
Very close to beach also.

Port Benidorm is a lovely hotel .. been in two different rooms there .. sea view had a glass bathroom wall but no kettle ..back view room had a proper wall and tea/coffee making facilities although it was paper cups and herbal teas .. they never got replaced in the week we were there but i was able to get tea bags and milk down in the bar or restaurant I also got proper cups from there too and took them back to my room ..food wasn't as good quality in November as it was in April tho so can be hit and miss with the food .. x
Pool is big and plenty of sun loungers. entertainment lets this platinum hotel down, very poor. 2 min to the beach.i just love it there
Fantastic hotel in great location.
Food is lovely and large choice to pick from.
Clean hotel, staff lovely, pool area is big too.
Stayed in lots of hotels and this one is one of my favourites.
Double with a sofa/bed we were 501 so had a view along levante beach through the buildings. Cleaned everyday and fresh towels. Yes the bathroom is glass but it has a strategically placed opaque wave meaning I couldn’t see the hubby on the loo or vice Verda. Didn’t bother us that we could see each other’s top part in the shower but the hotel will try to accommodate and give you a normal bathroom of tgey have one available.
Food: I always say mass catering is either adequate or inadequate - this was more than adequate. Only had one breakfast but the lunch and dinner was hot and plentiful. Varied choice so something for everybody and I’m a fussy eater! It is gourmet but you wouldn’t expect that but the puddings and cheeses were excellent. No complaints about the food. Only a small niggle - it would have been nice for chef at the pool bar to cook burgers/hot dogs on demand rather than leaving in terrines but as I say small niggle not an issue. Maitre’d and staff were welcoming and helpful.
Pool: unbelievable pool area, relaxing and never an issue for beds. Lovely pool and again immaculately clean.
Bar/terrace: loved having evening drinks here such a lovely ambience helped by the friendly staff. No problems with drinks - lager was good and so too was the cava! Local spirits but can pay supplement for brands - didn’t feel the need as the gin was nice.
Entertainment: the girls worked hard in the day trying to enlist people to activities. Evening was quite low key and I was surprised to find a hotel like this could not entice/pay for some of the more well known acts but we stayed in the hotel and then went out of we wanted any difference entertainment. Was a great dance duo on and always something regardless of how good it was.
Overall: impressive hotel that it is difficult
To find huge fault with. Food is quite ‘samey’ but I’ve stayed in 5* hotels with worse food. Like I say if you want a restaurant type meal go out, considering numbers I thought the food was good. Would recommmed!

Lovely place really, nice airy feel and atmosphere about the place. When we were there they were still finishing bits and bobs off, but never interfered with our enjoyment of the hotel, but you could see wee improvements in the place daily.
Staff were all very friendly and accommodating in all our interactions with them.
Food was nice and of good quality, although for fussy eaters I felt the selection at lunch and evening meals were a little thin. The restaurant itself is a nice, light and welcoming environment, sitting eating by the window looking towards the sea was a nice touch.
Pool area was good for kids and for those who wanted to laze in the sun about. The lifeguard on duty was very good, on a couple of occasions there were the typical young and older 'lads' and the girls with them getting a little rowdy, but did g last long with lifeguard and security.
Room wise they won't be to everyone's tastes I must admit. Based on our room, for 3 of us, my wife, 8 year old daughter and I, was functional, if a little small. We had a double bed and a fold out sofa bed for our daughter, compact but done the job. The TV doesn't have any English channels, I know it's not a major thing, but thought I would mention it. Major issue for some will be the bathroom. It is made up of glass walls with minimal frosted areas to hide your modesty. We were fortunate (or not depending on your head for heights) to be on the 18th floor, the views were superb, loved sitting on the balcony at nights watching the night go by.
The hallways with their textured walls and lighting are very nice, almost a boutique hotel style.
Evening entertainment when I was there was either a solo singer with an electric piano/organ or a pianist and singer. Was something to listen to while chatting but wasn't great entertainment if I'm honest. I would assume - and hope - this will get better.
One small thing we really appreciated was having a little fridge in the room, was so welcome this year for bringing bottles of water, Coke etc back at night.
Forgot to add, one thing that really stood out as a pain the whole 10 days we were there was the lifts. Utter disaster. Like many Spanish lifts they were tiny, but had the most sensitive weight monitoring thing I've ever seen, many times with 3 people in, a 4th would cause it not to go and there's no way 4 people were anywhere near the 650kg limit lol. Other issue was the somewhat random nature of where they went. On at least half a dozen occasions I went from 18 down to 1 and back to 10 or another floor before hitting the lobby. The system that calls the lifts means that, say at the restaurant there's 3 groups of 4 people waiting, wanting different floors, you press for your floor and fill the lift, the next group are also directed by the system to that lift even though there will be no room. Meaning they have to wait for that lift to go before they can call another lift. When you have 4 lifts its a really stupid system. Also, because it's all done through these touch pads outside the lift, there's only 3 buttons inside, alarm, doors open and doors close. A pain when your yo-yoing between floors as I found out.
Ashley Springthorpe - We stayed in June staff are lovely rooms are gorgeous wi memory foam mattresses on beds hotel is spotless fantastic location 5 min walk from main strip beach 1 minute walk breakfast n lunch really good dinner not so much so but subway burger king n McDonalds right nxt to it with lots of nice eating places nearby poolside snacks really good as well would defo recommend it xx
Totally agree about the lifts they are a total nightmare if u dont want glass walled bathroom u can ask to be moved they have some closed off bathrooms or like us just glass door we were in 1306 room was huge for 2 of us it also had fold down couch.
Paula Lawrence - Just back from ten days at port Benidorm hotel and loved it but heard going to be Thompson platinum next year so be going up in price. Amazing location and our group couldn't fault it.
Jacqueline Dickie - We came back on the 20th, rooms are ok, only problem some people will have is the toilet/shower with its glass wall although it has a frosted part running along the middle, the food, some soups lovely, mains hit or a miss but they do a lovely salad bar, sweets are nice. Drink is fine, front bar doesn't open till 11am so all drinks have to be got at pool bar, don't ask for coffee at the bar as you have to pay for it, but you get it free at the other bar which on the way to the toilets, not a pool person but it is lovely, lifts can be a bit of a wait, next year it goes Thomson platinum not sure what the changes will be, hope they put tea coffee facilities in the rooms, don't think it's a hotel for children especially at night, yes I would go back.
Yvonne Mccall - Was there in august, cant fault it,never heard a thing from adjoining rooms, our room was a good size, i emailed hotel to request sea view and got it,went with jet 2.
Kathleen Cooper - Port Benidorm had a great time hear all the staff have been great Paco in the restaurant fantastic and the waitress happy to help, bathroom not a problem, lifts not to bad sorry to say food not for us .
Beryl Baker - Well just had last night out had a great holiday with our friends & lots of laughs despite the weather . Stayed at Hotel Port Benidorm & can honestly say we haven't had much to moan about . Lifts been great when used properly , food plenty of choice if you look round . Hotel immaculately clean internet brilliant in rooms etc . All in all loved it .
Melanie Thornton - We stayed at Port Benidorm last August and it was fabulous. I couldn't recommend it enough. Food 1st class. We were all inclusive. Great week had by all in our group of 7 aged from 10yrs to 60+
Annie Mc - Feb 2017 - the hotel is lovely but food lets it down imo the main meal from the hot plate has been cold & tasteless but in a plus there is a good selection of bread rolls deserts & salads & drinks are really expensive hope this helps.
Ian Macca Mckendrick I stayed last September and couldn't fault the food. Large selection of all different kinds of food. I guess you can't please everyone.
I'm back there next week so can't be that bad.

Can't say I'm over impressed with the port Benidorm hotel so far. Arrived at 12:30 this afternoon joined a long queue to check in to be told to go for a walk for an hour as room wasn't ready, we weren't the only ones this happened to. We went back after about hour n half and it was ready. Other people's still weren't . We're half board and there are no tea/ coffee facilities in room. You have to hire a kettle. At meal times you have to purchase drinks there's not even water available to have with your meal. Waiter was clearing up quicker than you could eat and even dropped a full butter portion in my meal as he grabbed it then started picking it out! ?? fawlty towers moment. Anyway first day so let's give them a chance.
Sandra Smith - please dont be put off by the glass walls they are frosted and not a problem also the hotel has rooms with proper bathrooms and will happily allocate you one if requested. We have stayed twice in Port Benidorm and its excellent food very good staff amazing and hotel spotless, the only fault is evening entertainment is not good but you are so close to everything its not a problem..
