Just returned from a 2 week stay at aquarium 11 after reading some of the reviews I thought to myself wot have I let myself in for!! But I would like to say if anyone is thinking bout staying there but read the reviews plz don’t let them put you off they were clean they had a heater was warm dint hear any noise close to everything we only left this morning & we are still waiting for our deposit to be refunded I hope it will be done soon! I would definitely stay here again ….😊
We stayed in aquarium ll a few weeks ago. It was fine. Our key pick up as it was late arrival was just around corner at Dynastic. Daytime there is an office outside to the right.
No air con but we just left doors open at night.Beds were comfortable. Kitchen small but adequate hob kettle, toaster, coffee maker, f/freezer, microwave. Safes have to be rented.
We did book one with a bedroom as I believe some are studios. Shower was a cubicle one and good though as in most apartments the tanks not that big but did 2 of us ok .
Pool is shared with Aquarium l not many sunbeds. Was a bit noisy at times though not actually in the block but noise carrying from end of strip by Piccadilly.. and Pelicanos entertainment starts at 11 so that’s noisy if your doors open. lifts were a bit slow but ok. Supermarket opposite and mad monks bar below. I’d stay again when not so hot as it’s in a great position for us.
Hi can you tell me if hairdryers and irons are in the rooms or can I hire them from hotel?
There’s not a thing wrong with these apartments I stayed there last week and could have stayed another few weeks 😂😂 you pay for what you get.. the room can differ as many are privately owned. I would be happy to stay at these apartments again where as reviews had me dreading staying at them.. close to the strip, €200 euro deposit but had no problem with it being returned.
Very basic, you get what you pay for, everything is clean and works. If you get a studio apartment you have a sofa bed rather than a bed. It is what it is, if you want a luxury stay then this is not the place, if you plan on spending most of your time out of the apartment and are using this to sleep and wash it will be fine
Clean, basic but very pleasant and I would say that no more than 2 consecutive showers/baths can take place in the evening? In each room. Also!!! NEVER! Even if all 3 lifts are 15 floors away…dont overcrowd´it! We got stuck on the 6 1/2 floor lol (own fault!..hen party of careless aged wild uns! ) and there is no manned reception but apparently 24hr lift surveillance? . Luckily my vintage mobile phone that I almost left behind amazingly had signal for me to call for help ….blah blah blah…anyway we survived! Sweaty and went straight back in one later on to avoid any future phobias. Regardless. . You spend 48hrs telling everyone you can see where they film Benidorm from your balcony and close to the best pharmacy and markets ect..you get what you pay for.
I stayed there in July and it was 1 bedroom and pullout sofa bed 4 of us we had pull out bed it was broken which they rectified but very uncomfortable didn’t sleep much and was no where to hang our clothes lived out of my suit case.
Stayed there in March this year, small apartment with a great view, loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Be warned though the lift takes an eternity to get to the upper floors
Leslie Bell – Well another great wee stay in the aquarium II apartments. I can’t understand why the place gets slated so much. Apartment was clean. We had hot water. We had a balcony. We had a great pool. €8 a day per person.? Come on. Would go back no problem. And a great wee pub downstairs called mad Munk. Fab staff con great food.
Michael – stayed there 3 years in a row with my 3 friends, cant fault it, great location, quiet but still close to town centre, rooms were basic but spotless and cheap as chips.
Mandy Miller Dooler – Stayed there in March and staying there again next Monday apartment are ok you pay 200 euros breakage deposit I put mine on card and it was back on my account with in 48 hours of been back in the uk the lifts are a bit slow and the corridors could do with a lick of paint but for what we paid it was worth it we had a one bedroom apartment looking over the sol pelicanos ideal location for the strip about 10 mins walk
I stayed there last week and I can’t fault it a part from the lifts been a little bit slow and the corridors needing a lick or paint I can’t fault em did the job for me and my friend clean bed and clean shower as ya don’t spend too long in the apartment to be honest you have to pay 200 euros deposit on arrival but get it back when they have checked to apartment to see if every thing is ok you can pay oh card and it will be refunded with in 48 hours of getting back to the uk
Brian Mowat – Stopped there 7 times up to now. Cant fault them. Very quiet. Goin back in 3 weeks.
Nic Sharples – I stayed there other week basic but got everything you need was clean we had great view .. I don’t go on holiday sit in my room so was brill lol
Donna Bailey Greaves – I stayed there for a week in September very small but absolutely spotless well worth the small price we paid for them.
Denise Dinning – Have stayed there a few times,in one bedroom apartment they do there job spotless everything you need very safe and a lovely pool area xx
Debbie Rose – Bed was full of p.stains and insects under mattress , wooden furniture was greasy , 2 minutes of hot water per hour (confirmed by reception ) outside door was very difficult to open , not good in the early hours ,, stench of cannabis in lifts.
Deb Moncur – situated right behind sol pelicanos you actually look out onto there pool ….the apartments are basic but clean ..the pool is basic wasnt many sunbeds round when we were there last week ..there is a bar underneath called mad monk which you can get food and bring drinks round pool area …the lifts are slow and it is also a residential place …we had a week there and it was fine ..the main office is outside underneath if you have any probs ..and its 200 euro deposit which you can pay cash or card when you check out they radio up and your rooms checked you get refunded straight away …not sure how the dynistic are at paying the refunds back as the room is checked before they refund you , but you only deal with the dynistic if its out of hours.
