Dave Hargreaves
Recommended for groups by Dave Hargreaves, 1 September 2019 We have stayed in the Halley 6 of the last 8 years, we are normally a group of 6 lads, Never had a problem despite it's a hotel mainly of stag/hens Basis but clean, close enough to the beach & strip but not close enough where u get all the noise, not sure bar is 24hr tbh but not 100% Would recommend Halley but like i said beware it is a hotel mainly for groups i would say rather than families

Jackie Piggott Young by Admin, 11 February 2018 Stayed once. Never again. The mattresses have thick plastic covers on them and with the heat were extremely sweaty. I thought I’d take it off until I saw the filth underneath it. Unbelievable stains. Plus the staff allowed or at least never stopped the stags drinking in the pool holding glasses and bottles.

Martin Brown-rodgers - Stayed there few times lovely place , a lot of hen and stag party's they dont speak English very well , expect to pay a deposit when you check in (this is returned upon inspection at the end of your stay)
Elaine Kane - its really lively with plenty of atmosphere round the pool in groups they are spotless clean n basic n they r just facing the indoor market across the road plus the balcony we had on the 17th floor was massive xx n the wee bar down the street next to it the stretford inn does great food cocktails n drink.
Tracy Ely - 0 out of 10 pool was full of stag dos drinking beer in pool and chairs thrown out of balcony's not good if u have kids there only stayed 1 night and got moved.

Kerry Butler - Stayed here a few times. I can't fault it for the price and it's a good location. It's not the ritz but it's not ritz prices either. I would definitely stay again. Clean good size rooms large balcony and friendly staff.
Nicky Lynn - Fine. Nothing special but clean and comfortable. Yes stag and hens stay here but had no problems. They could do with more sunbeds though x
Elaine Kane - loved it clean basic n central no faults its cheap n cheerful will deffo stay again at some point n the food n drink down the street in the stretford End, cant beat it xx
Mark Thompson - Basic cheap apartments all you need if your here for a cheap holiday staff were friendly not seen a stag do stay twice both in august.
Janette Cunningham Segar - Stayed there at new year felt safe and very secure as they have 24 hour reception and it is all cameras around would stay there again.
Jayne Forrest - Went to Halley 2 yrs ago with my kids, reviews were terrible however we had a fab time wouldn't stay anywhere else.)stayed few times)Yes there was a stag & hen there but they were having a good time by didn't do us any harm. Staff lovely & great location.
Sharon Cuthbertson Stevenson - I've stayed in Halley basic but clean apartments, very secure 24 hour reception security at night gate locked. Nice food and bar prices are good. Bars and restaurants opposite Halley, 2 mins to KFC and supermarket at bottom of road. 5 mins to beach and about 10 min walk to strip. However over weekend they do attract lot of stags and hens so if you want quiet perhaps try one of the others, Ive stayed twice no probs.
