Highly recommend for children our kids love it although not right in Benidorm it has everything and with all inclusive or ultra all inclusive you get so much and free bus into Benidorm.
  • Loads of things for the kids to do

    ,

I loved the place with the chalet lay out and loads of things for the kids to do and entertainment every night! What I did notice about Robin Hood though is that it seems to be near nothing, there was a lack of any bars or shops or anything near it which put me off booking it for next year to be honest

Our son and 13yr old Granddaughters went in Oct last year and we went up to see them with our 2 dogs as we were staying on a campsite in Benidorm (also dog friendly) It is a fantastic place for the kids with plenty going on. There is plenty to do to keep them entertained.

Liam Dudderz Dudley - Been as a family of 4, i would upgrade to a garden lodge if you havnt booked that, the lodge is a lot more spacious and in a better spot on the site ,we upgraded and glad we did as the other lodges looked small and cramped and dark, the food was faultless, the entertainment could of been better , pool area is great for kids but they closed the slides whenever they wanted, would I go again ,,No, we still had a good stay but things can be improved.

    Samantha Sanderson - 29th May 2018

We have just visited magic Robin hood 18th till 25th may.. And after worrying beforehand reading all the bad reviews we couldn't of been anymore wrong! It was amazing and apart from a few little niggles I will mention we couldn't fault it at all.

My partner and son eat all sorts of food fish and meat etc and got no food poisoning which we were worried about after reading the reviews. The staff were all very friendly and did anything to help. We got a buggy to our room with our suitcases which was very handy.. Was also impressed we could book one for the morning home too which was fantastic service and the guy we had went above and beyond and wouldn't let my partner help out the suitcases on etc and said it was our holiday and we had a long day ahead traveling home etc.

We had a Nottingham lodge which was basically a caravan but it was decorated to a high standard and I was more then impressed with it. Slightly small in bedrooms but we got by we only sleep in their. But had all kitchen appliances which I thought was good. Not that it got used with all inclusive but was good to have in case.

The pool areas were fab and we all as a family enjoyed it especially the water slides! We liked all the different sections and really enjoyed the more quiter pool also and loved the swim up to bar in their and sunbeds.

We went to the friar tuck Inn one night I'm not a meat Eater but my son and partner really enjoyed it and partner was raving that it was the best meal he's had in a long while.

The forest cafe we were disappointed in. Limited menu and it took an hour and half to get our food.

The golden arrow restaurant we went to most nights and loved all the different varieties and even me being a fussy eater didn't struggle at all.

The long bow terrace restaurant we only ever went around 12ish and was all the token breakfast food only complaint I'd say about that is the birds flying around but it was more modern and clean than I was expecting after the reviews iv seen previously.

All of the staff work very hard to keep the place clean and tidy. Our room was cleaned daily and when we were walking around we always seen cleaners. On our last day we got out bus at 8am and seen cleaners working at 7am washing down the play area outside reception and tables and chairs etc and couldn't fault it.

We went to the medieval show and too us we just didn't get it at all.. We are from Nottingham so know the story about Robin hood etc but it just seemed a bit all over the place and couldn't get into it.

We spent the evenings in the maid Marian for entertainment. Kids disco at half 8 and a show at 9.30 and half 10. We enjoyed the most off them. Loved the Michael Jackson tribute but was getting slightly annoyed as was supposed to start at half 10. Was out first night their and had been up since 3am for the airport. He didn't arrive on his buggy until 11.15 and then still took ages to come out and perform. But he was very good at his moves just a shame he didn't sing. We seen arina grande and Justin beiber tributes which were good.

We used the free bus to Go to benidorm a couple of times which was handy and we visited the tropical splash hotel which I fought was a fab place. Pool was amazing but I think I still prefer Robin hood for the all around entertainment and pools.

The staff on reception were fab at booking in all the resteraunt for me and the other hotels and we had no problems at all.

Bad points for me - I didn't like the fact we had cards rather then wristbands as it was a bit of a nightmare having to dig them out and if was using the pool bars was awkward to carry about, but we got by.

Although their was always a slide in operation it was a bit all over the place and would only have certain slides on at times and would have to close others. Assuming this is down to lack of life guarding staff

Their was a lack of life guards around the pool. Yes it's down to the parents to watch their children but I only ever saw one life guard around the whole pool which isn't enough when theirs so many different areas

And we did see them just on their phone alot instead of paying attention to the pools. Especially the space bowl area.

It was a bit noisy at times at night but I'm a heavy sleeper and didn't struggle but my partner who's a light sleeper struggled but I guess you get that in any hotels.

On the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to come back it was a fantastic place and me and my family didn't want to leave and was sad to go. my only regret is having one week instead of 2!

Got back after spending a week at magic robin hood and I would definitely recommend it and will go there again. Rooms were basic but they were clean, lovely breakfasts the dinner and tea were a bit hit and miss but the drinks were spot on loads of choice and all branded spirits. Just to recommend there is the main food hall and an outside food area and the outside one I found better and no queues to get your food and plenty of tables. You also get free entry into terra natura and the water park which is next to it but this isn't advertised there is a machine next to reception you book the trip on, also you can book a meal at friar tuck and its a set meal it was beautiful and also if you wanted to go into Benidorm they do a free bus at 10am every day

Not even got to Magic Robinhood and already they are looking after us and assuring us. I've just messaged them regarding if there is a late fee for arriving late when we get there...this is there reply 'Don't worry, there is a reception 24 hours and all inclusive finish at midnight so you are able to have dinner and drinks when you arrive' my boys will eat them out of house n home and I'll be supping all drinks. How assuring is that...knowing there will be food for kids when we get there after 7.30pm.

    Almost Magic .......

Magic Robin Hood formally known as Excalibur

we stayed here for a week from May 5th to May 12th and have mixed feelings as we arrived it was clearly noticeable that it had opened prematurely as there was building work still going but we soldiered on and heres my review

ROOMS : There are three types of rooms to choose from Nottingham lodge (like a static caravan) Sherwood lodge (like a large shed with beds and a bathroom) and Garden lodges which are brand new and in my opinion lovely with all mod cons

FOOD : Loads and loads of food but very hit and miss but recommend the breakfast as its lovely with full english and meats and cheeses and pastries ,fruits and yogurts

POOL : The outside pool is amazing with 6 flumes and a childrens slide too ,the pool is amazing but very very cold . It has an indoor pool but thats part of the spa and they charge you 8 euros an hour to swim in it. !!!

STAFF : The staff are brilliant although speak little english but they got the idea ,they were helpful and brilliant with the children and the cleaners work day and night and do a grand job..

ENTERTAINMENT : On site is a medieval with horses and sword fights and a meal (which is included on one night if staying all inclusive for 7 nights or more) which was brilliant but dont recommend to families with kids under 4 as its long and the kids do get restless ,The evening entertainment was poor and sometimes it was just the kids entertainers playing just dance although kids karaoke was good on the Monday but didn't start until 11pm !!

LOCATION : yes its about 8 minutes drive but with no bus stop outside you have two choice's to get to the beach Taxi ( between 8 and 10 euros) or a free shuttle bus that runs between all the Magic resorts in Benidorm

At most i would say this is a 2/3 star and will probably be a fantastic place for a holiday when its finished but the mean time i would say its a 7/10 although we did have a problem which was dealt with very fast and after we relaxed and went with the flow it was a smashing holiday after all ....

I've not long for back 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 6-13. Had a fantastic time and couldn't fault anything. Food on tap all day from 8 till about 10.

Joy Lorrinda Gunton - Stayed there in May with 5 year old grandson in a Sherwood lodge. Could not fault anything. Staff are brilliant with the kids. It was so good the grandson cried when it was time to leave.

My sister is there now, she can't fault it. Only thing was she was staying in the sherwood lodge and it was awful, dark and dreary. She's been moved now. She had 2 kids with her and they are having a great time there.
