It was dark and dingy so asked if we could be moved to the main hotel which they did thankfully.x
Food is very good in the pueblo lots of choice from salads cold meats pork chicken beef fish burgers lasagnes spagettis roast dinners mexican nights chinese nights ect lovely pizzas there is show cooking you can have omlettes and pancakes for breakfast also the bacon is english not streaky like most hotels the variety is endless
Just got back from group trip of 21 of us stayed in pueblo couldn't fault it great food clean towels and room cleaned everyday second year now in Benidorm deffo a third on the horizon
We got moved to main hotel as there was no room to walk round the bed.
Rooms are lovely modern with small fridge TV bathroom with bath or shower toilet smallish balconies, ask for pool view.
Entertainment is ok in high season something on every night day time entertainment club for kids but mostly Spanish but all welcome food can't fault plenty of choice great for kids too. Hotel overall is clean and friendly.
We have just booked for July again next year. It's also well placed for bars entertainment shops and beach about 20 min stroll along the beach prom to old town which is lovely

Spikydu - Stayed here for 7 nights at the start of June
Hotel was centrally located to bars & restaurants
Next to the outdoor market
Pool area is great , and always kept clean
Food was good , loved the back bacon served at breakfast
Room was on 4th floor in main building , plenty big enough for 2
Simone Bethany Laura Ashby - Me and my family have been visiting this hotel for over 30 years. Always found the staff very friendly and helpful from reception to bar staff to waitresses to the cleaners.
The rooms and clean and furnished to a good standard. Little fridges in all rooms which is very handy. No tea making facilities but that doesn't bother us as we take a little kettle tea bags and sugar and just buy milk from the supermarket.
The pool area is very good 2 decent sized pools as well as a baby pool indoor pool and children's water play area. Entertainment is okay. Used to be very good back when it was a barcelo hotel. It has gone down since being part of servigroup.
We always enjoy the food. Breakfast you are spoilt for choice. There is something for everything. Lunch and dinner are themed each day. Some days are excellent some days not so good. It all depends on what you like. But there is always something for everyone. Always a stack of lovely desserts. Salad and cold meats. Pasta each day some form of meat and fish on the grill as well.
They have stopped providing a space to park mobility scooters this year which is a disappointment for us as both my parents are disabled and have hired a double scooter for the past 3 years or so. Only reason we can still visit easy hire offer a lock up behind jokers. Only downfall with this is the fact I will have to take the parents back and lock the scooter up myself.
The reception area is spacious and there a plenty of places to sit and relax or enjoy entertainment. Including 2 lounge areas the main area by the pool and a terrace out the front of the hotel. Overall me and my family very much enjoy this hotel and I would award it a 9 out of 10. The only things that let it down is the entertainment and the fact they do not provide for mobility scooters.
Simon Lucas - Have only stayed here once .. Hotel is centrally located to shops , restaurants , bars and less than 2 mins away from the outdoor market.
Rooms are adequate in size
Pool area is great , good sized pools
Restaurant food is great
Free wifi which seemed to work ok
Entertainment not great , then again there is plenty of entertainment less than 2 mins away
Would deffo go back to this hotel.
Kelly Marie Morris - Went here in March & have been a lot of other times too, food is amazing (especially desserts & theme nights). Rooms are adequate enough it has a bed, shower & wardrobes ? there is a charge for the safe but you get the deposit back. Free wifi & free fridge. No kettle though, hairdryer in the bathroom but have to keep your finger on the button.
Perfectly located close to the beach & a stones throw away from the weekly markets & the square. No noise in the night from the square, very secure hotel.
Room card needed to access most of the hotel & security always around. 2 outdoor swimming pools & 1 undercover. Maid service great immaculate throughout.
Linda Younger - Stayed here for 10 days in may, lovely hotel. Good location, 10 min walk to the beach, 5 mins to all the entertainment bars on calle gerona.
Though quiet enogh to get a good night's sleep, hotel spotlessly clean, staff are all very friendly, the food was really nice with British bacon for breakfast in the morning. We stayed in one of the annexe building's overlooking the pool, rooms are quite small, but plenty of storage, there is a fridge in the rooms. British tv channels, free wifi. 2 lovely pools, plenty of sunbeds, never stayed in at night for entertainment, so can't comment on that, but we enjoyed it so much we have booked it twice for next year.
Dave Rose - Stayed here for the first time, food was fair and normally something for everyone all though some days were hit and miss.
Only problem we had was we stayed in the annex other side of the pool and could be very noisy at times, others who stayed in the main hotel said it was quiet!
Overall the hotel for me was fair/good but I can't see me coming back to it, perhaps just not for me.
Anne Graham - Our first stay here have tried most of the servi groups but found thr food her not so good other guests saying the same thing .it was spotless and a good sized room didn't like the beds on wheels and didn't like the foyer with low poufees instead of chairs great location and very quiet not sure if I would return.
Anita Jameson - Great hotel. Stayed in October. Food good and friendly staff. Two big pools plus child's paddling pool. We stayed in one of the small annexes and it was great.
Adrienne Tyrrell - highly recommend it food lovely and rooms very clean
Entertainment in Spanish but the location is brilliant so you have a choice of places to go in walking distance.
Rosemary Jephson - Going to pueblo June, stayed before...great location, lovely pools, staff friendly, I have been loads of places abroad, and I am very fussy when it comes to eating, never like anything lol, but the food was really good quality, and enjoyed every meal x
My week in benidorm is over
I was staying at the Servigroup pueblo hotel
The hotel is central to everything around the strip bars and restaurants and the nightlife
I cant compliment the staff more really go out there way especially the domestics
Check in was quick and easy
My room was what i wanted
I only used the indoor heated pool which is salt water that they use
I stayed half board but was never up for breakfast always rolling in at 7am not a pretty sight
The evening meal i was not impressed as i can eat certain meat and vegetarian meals
And the kitchen staff dont speak English and not clear signs telling you whats suitable for vegetarians the head chef said they will be making the issue clear and i did say i will be checking on my next visit
The entertainment is boring im going to be straight line dancing and same singer maybe its bcuz its January
Not my cup of tea
Cafe benidorm and white star were really good and went to the beach at night and walked to the old town
I visited el basha its a sheesha bar which i really enjoyed
The outdoor market i just went to have a look nothing there for me.did see the pee men and women did stop a English women from making a mistake as she was almost conned so have your wits about u
overall it wad a great holiday sad am going bk met lovely people staying in contact
I am bk april 1st
Margaret Andrews - Stayed at Pueblo Hotel many times, last time was September for 2 weeks the amount of choices you have at meal times are great lovely clean place, entertainment is not great but we went out most evenings 67@ 68 spring chickens , back in May for a week xx
Jayne Clarke - Just back from 4 nights in the Pueblo Hotel. We normally stay in the Ambassador or Presidente so we thought we would have a change. All I can say is never again!
The room we had was on the top floor of the annex block 7. Lovely big room apart from the construction work outside which was loud at 8am! We also had a workman on the roof banging and dangling off the roof knocking and resurfacing the outside so we didn't get any chance of having a lay in! We did enquire about moving rooms but they didn't have any more 4 bed rooms available.
The food was dreadful. The first day had a piece of chicken which was raw in the middle. The chef did nothing about it. Then at the evening meal the 12 year old in our party had some pork which again was raw inside , again the chef did nothing. We had a whole night awake with my friends son being sick from eating raw food. Then on the last day I had a profiterole with green mould growing on it only to be told " well it was stored in the fridge!!"
I'm guessing as it was out of season the entertainment was a Spanish theme as 97% of guests were elderly Spanish. The Ambassador will always be the hotel of my choice as the food knocks spots off the Pueblo.
There was myself and husband.
We wanted a change of hotel this time as we normally stay in a self catering apartments.
The Pueblo is situated in an ideal location. The outdoor market is virtually next door on a Sunday and Wednesday. It's a short walk to the nightlife square and strip but far enough away so you don't get the noise on a night time.
It's a 5-10 minute walk to the beach depending how fast you walk.
The hotel is on a flat surface so there is no hills or slight inclines to get to it.
On Arrival we got dropped off outside the Helios hotel which is just across the road from Pueblo. There is seating outside which can be used for smoking. The doors are the ones which move round as you walk into it, which can be a little awkward if you have suitcases so it's better to use the disabled door which can be opened by pressing a button close by.
In the reception area it was nice and cool as it had aircon. It was very clean and a very well polished floor. I handed our passports and Paperwork in to a member of reception staff, after a couple of mins we was given 2 card keys and a piece of card which we had to take with us for meal times as we was half board.
I also asked for a safe which I got charged 24€ but I got 10€ back on return of the safe key.
We went towards the lift and noticed there is a door and you have to put in your card key to enter the area where there was 4 lifts, one of the lifts was I glass see through lift which goes to all 16 floors and can fit 6 people inside (it does say 10 people but it really depends on there build) the other 3 lifts can fit 4 people in and seems really small compared to the size of the hotel (to all 16 floors). The lifts also have aircon but the 3 small lifts was blowing warm air rather then cool air.
It did take a good 5 mins to wait for a lift because it was lunch time so it was fairly busy.
Our room was on the 4th floor and number 411. On entering the room I thought it was quite big but for some reason we had 3 beds. (2 singles push together and a single on its own) the room had a balcony with French doors and the balcony had a small table with 2 plastic chairs. There was a washing line on there too. The view was a roof from the reception area. You could see the outdoor pools at a distance. There was a TV on the wall with remote control. It had about 8 English TV channels but the signal was dodgy so could not watch much as it was crackled. The room had an aircon or heater fan which was just above the bathroom door. It was around 36 degrees outside in the shade so I put the aircon on which is not that strong but does keep you room cooler then it does outside.
I sat on the bed and the bed moved as they are on wheels. I had to ask for more pillows because only one was provided for each bed. I did also notice that there was cigarette burns on the bedding sheets.
There was 2 wardrobes provided one of which had a safe inside. Plenty of storage. Hangers provided and also a hairdryer in the bathroom.
The bathroom was very clean but the shower door kept falling off when in use. Toiletries was provided in small sachets like shower gel, shampoo and a small bar of soap. Towels was also provided nice and soft and also a bath anti-slip mat for the shower too. Toilet roll was provided. Shower very powerful.
Overall the room was good with a few issues.
Bar was nice and clean and waiter service. I don't drink alcohol so I was having soft drinks. It was €1.70 for soft drink and €2.70 for pint of beer. The bar also serves ice creams and snacks. I never used the outdoor bar by the pool. Nice staff.
Food was ok at times. Breakfast is 8am-10am there is hot and cold drinks available at no extra cost. Breakfast ranged from a full English to fruit, pastries, yogurts, cereals plenty to choose from. If you wanted a fried egg you had to go to the show cooking area as they are cooked fresh for you. Other then that Scrambled egg was on offer at the buffet area with mushrooms in a water, tin tomatoes, baked beans, bacon, sausages, black puddings, hash browns etc. there is also an area to grill your own toast but there was normally a queue to do this.
Evening meal was served between 8pm- 10pm which I thought was late but on the 1st September it was changed to 7.30pm-9.30pm which I still think was too late when we are used to having dinner around 5-6pm at home, there was a themed night apart from Sunday as it was a Sunday roast. Tapas night (never tried as eaten out) Mexican night (tried but did not enjoy) Chinese night (tried and was ok) Fish & Seafood night (did not try as eaten out) Italian night (very nice) and Spanish night (did not try as eaten out)
You had to show the card on arrival into the restaurant (what you get the card keys in when you check in) there a lady will write on a piece of paper and pass it to you. On entering you can then pick a table. Then a member of staff will come and ask if you want a drink, then she gets you a drink and writes it's down on the piece of paper and takes the pink copy of paper (carbon copy on paper) then as you leave the restaurant you have to hand in the paper and pay for you drinks which is the same price as the bar.
Entertainment was mainly Spanish but we can not comment on that much as we never stayed in hotel to watch.
All in all I don't know if I would stay here again. We are used to going self catering so I suppose it's what we are use to. The reason why I choose to stay here because it worked out to be the same price to go half board then self catering. I booked through jet2 holidays. The staff are all friendly here and always happy to help.
