Visited this hotel for 4 nights on 9th March. I found reception staff very friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was deluxe and it had a lovely big bathroom with a bath, shower and bidet. The entertainment we saw was good. We didn’t upgrade to deluxe because we didn’t feel it worth it as we had all we needed. Food was okay, but not amazing. You get one complimentary Indian meal at the sister hotel but we didn’t end up having it. Location is great for the beach and it’s a pleasant 10 minute walk maximum. There is a spa that you pay extra for.
Would I return again? I think I would.
Sandos is a lovely hotel, but the food is awful and the majority of the staff are miserable, shame
Stayed at this lovely hotel from 21st to 28th Sept. We didn’t upgrade and still had a lovely room, food and drink was great and staff very friendly , we will definitely be returning to this hotel.
Stayed May 2018, great hotel, food and service really excellent. However DON’T do the Indian at their “sister” hotel as it’s crap food, crap service and a waste of time.
You can eat from 8am to midnight is you want to, drinks all triples and free flowing.
Parking a bit OTT @ €15 a night, but we were only charged €10 and €3 a night for the safe a bit OTT but the same at most hotels in Beni.
Been three times returning on Friday , excellent hotel .. select rooms are a bonus with a private lounge with branded drinks you serve yourself and snacks all day . Situated on the edge of the old/ new town
Lovely Hotel food very good all staff very helpful and can’t do enough for you the rooms are very nice we loved it last November so going back this June central to every were Old and new town met loads of very nice people there.
Just got back from a break in Sandos Monaco .very disappointed, room very tired the food was so bad even my husband could not eat the turkey and he eats anything , dont know what it was but deffo not turkey the food was just tasteless we had to spend our own cash on meals out. Dont get me started on the Indian meal at sister hotel it was a Thurs my hubbies birthday we went to Indian all you can eat was disgusting, fatty, bland, I was so disappointed. I filled the form in and let them know how I felt one thing the young lad who served us was charming could not do enough for us, we then had to go sit in a pizza hut not what we wanted for a birthday night. We stayed for a week 4 years ago food was fab .room was very modern. I can honestly say I am so disappointed 😣
Brilliant hotel. Been several times. Great location, good food & staff great. Always book select club, free champagne in rooms on arrival & chocolate every night on your pillow as well as branded drinks. Enjoy
Hi there, we went 2nd Jan for 5 nights. Without doubt its the best I’ve ever stayed in in Benidorm . You’s will love it
Just a bit of advice – if you are fussy drinkers (me and my fella are)!! Then upgrade to to select club lounge, you can do this at hotel. It gives you access to the lounge with help yourself to ALL branded spirits xx
Lovely hotel. However if they offer you a room ending in one eg 201, 301 ask if they have any others available. These are very small rooms next to the lift shaft. We had one went up stairs came back down and asked for another room and there was no problem
Pebbles – We went there for a few days just before Christmas 2014. Couldn’t fault the place at all.
We might just visit again this year if we can get a deal. We bring my dad on holiday for Christmas every year, we have an apartment here, but always try to give him a little extra holiday over Christmas time.
The house beer was Cruzcampo, which isn’t one of our favourites, but we soldiered on with the other All Inclusive drinks. We were only there for three days, but the staff got to know our preferences quickly, and made us very welcome indeed.
Lynnemac – Been twice and booked again for a 3rd time brilliant location good food adults only hotel. You can upgrade to branded drinks if you prepare ,not much entertainment but only 5 minutes away from the bars
Elizabeth Willis – Just returned from Sandos Monaco the hotel, staff and food was amazing best hotel I’ve stayed at in Benidorm . Beach and bars 5 minutes away. Entertainment wasn’t that great but its Benidorm a world of entertainment outside your door. Can’t wait to go back.
Jo Jo – I went in June 2016 and was very disappointed. Over crowded pool area, no waiter service. Help yourself in plastic cups. Food average and repetitive. And if you book as a single person (me and my 2 sisters did ) you get the first room on the right as you step out of the lift, which is next to the cleaners room. They start at 7 in the morning, running water, crashing and banging about.
Aileen Shalts – Four of us stayed in September 2016. Lovely hotel, central and staff friendly and helpful. Not worth upgrading unless you absolutely can’t drink the local spirits. Food varied and plentiful but was never warm no matter how early we ate. Would definitely stay there again.
Evelyn Hawkey – We have stayed few times and are booked for next year again. Food is fine, we never bother with the Select bar, don’t think it’s worth it.,staff are nice and so are the rooms. We go on 16th floor and you get great views!
Christine Beard -Yes we came back Sunday after 10 fantastic days
Everything was great
I’m super picky with food and I found something every meal.
Janette Evans, April 2017 – The Sandos Monaco is really lovely , big pool area for a treat book a select room and you have access to the executive lounge with branded spirits which you help yourself to and Snacks all day , it has a great outdoor area too .
Rooms are big and spotlessly clean and it’s adult only .
Huw Cole Sandos – is one of the best hotels in Benidorm and we have stayed in a lot ! i did not see the point of upgrading to Select to be honest unless you want to sit in a little corner away from everyone to drink stronger drinks. the All Inclusive drinks are not bad and the pool area is lovely and so are the rooms. They offered us an upgrade for about £200 on arrival for Select but that was not upgrading our room just our drinks we declined . We are going back in September for 10 days.
Kathy, June 2017
We stayed at the Sandos on June 1st to June the 8th ~~ this hotel is superb, it is spotlessly clean , the food is excellent ~~ i cannot fault it in any way ~~ If you want to book this hotel , have no worries ~~ they cater for Coeliacs, Vegetarian etc ~~ we opted for the Select Package, this gives you the use of a private lounge , it has a bar with all manner of spirits and soft drinks , snacks etc , all replenished on a regular basis ~~ there is a television , PC if you want to use it , and a little outside area which is lovely and relaxing ~ we loved it
We liked the hotel so much we are going back in September
