Fantastic pool area. View on the roof is incredible. Some people say it is "too far away" but not everyone that goes to Benidorm just goes to the main strip.
Susan Adams
Hated it to far away from main benidorm

I go regularly, bus stop outside. Very much Spanish people. Nice quiet beach down the bottom - no fun or entertainment. I just go to chill

Too far out for us

To far away .to big and impersonal imo. -
Great value for moneyLoved it - thought it great value for money - food not always red hot but many Spanish hotels are like that - lovely walk along the front to the old town

We’d definitely go back.We loved it. Bus stop right outside and runs frequently, but a nice walk along the seafront if you like walking.
We only had breakfast but food was fine with lots of choice, it wasn’t hot hot but that’s how it is in Spain.
Room was dated but very clean and plenty of wardrobe space. Lovely bathroom also very clean and maids cleaned every day.
Entertainment was really for the Spanish but we didn’t want it anyways as we always went out.
Only downside was the lifts-always seemed to be queues and we went out of season but just a small moan .
We’d definitely go back. -

Nice area and hotel was clean ..food a bit hit and miss but you've places to eat right across the road..la cala beach is lovely and some nice cafes down there.. bus stop right at the side of your hotel to take you to the busy part but if your up for walking it's a lovely stroll.. we walked it twice a day into old town ..bars and restaurants all the way down ..me personally wouldn't go all inclusive unless your planning on not leaving the hotel very often plus the food we didn't find great..id go bed n breakfast and wander out most days ..enjoy

Food was not hot but you could microwave it. Good choice of food. I liked the room. Entertainment not up to much. Liked the area and bus stop right outside. A handful of bars and places to eat on beach 10 minutes walk. Nice walk into Benidorm on the front.

Good Hotel, yes you can easy walk or catch a bus into Benidorm you can get it at some really good prices, especially on cheeky trip

Stayed in the hotel several times.
We enjoyed the food, bedrooms a little dated in the higher block but everything you need.
A few shops, beauty salon & hairdresser inside the hotel last time we went.
A few bar, shooed and cafes near. Bus stop around the corner.
Great views.
Swimming pools freezing anytime of the year. I have always found the entertainment poor (just my opinion).

Lovely clean hotel spacious rooms
Nice big pool area
Entertainment on
Bus stop outside
Taxi rank outside
Food ain’t great so best option in my opinion is b&b
Lots of little bars and cafes and restaurants nearby lovely beach at the bottom of the road
Go for it

15 minutes to Cala Finstrat Bay which was lovely in an evening for a drink listening to the sea. I liked the hotel, but only stayed HB which is enough. Any hotel food can get boring after a while. It's the Spanish side of Benidorm so lots of lovely restaurants on down towards the seafront. Give it a go. I would definitely go back. -
Relaxing getaway1st time visit to Benidorm friend has been a couple of times before. Stayed at the Grand Bali on an All inclusive deal. Honest review of the place. All inclusive drinks package was a good deal house spirits and lager even Tequilla shots. You could also have house wine. soft drinks also quite varied. So some might say worth it for the drinks alone.
Food not that brilliant the usual boring all inclusive food on offer. Just alternated the pork shin with beef shin. hotel steady for this time of year.
Pool not open due to time of season. the new spa area is really nice but you have to book your slot and it’s €20 for 55mins or €55 including a treatment, although we couldn’t book a treatment during our stay as there were no spaces.
We stayed on the 33rd floor so the views over the bay were brilliant. And we had a visit to the rooftop viewing platform a further charge of €6 each, not for the faint hearted but plenty of photo opportunities.
If you want the quite side of Benidorm with only a cheap bus or taxi ride to the main strip, then it’s a good location.
To sum it up it’s starting to look a bit tired now and could do with a bit of a revamp however I do feel the price was value for money for this time of year, for a much needed few days away of relaxation. -

Just came back from the Gran Bali & it was amazing.
I know some people are put off with going their as it is quite far out, but if you want to go into the old town it’s 15 minutes on the bus and about 25 minutes to the new town. €1.60 a single, can’t get much better than that & a lot cheaper than a taxi. You can get the buses round to the right hand side of the Bali, the number 2 & 3 go to the new & old town.
Gran Bali was very clean, well air conditioned & most staff speak very good English. All pools are clean & well looked after.
Rooms were clean! Cleaned every day if you allow the cleaner in, and beds changed every 2 days.
The viewpoint(43rd floor) was absolutely breath-taking.
3€ for residents, 6€ for non-residents & a drink downstairs afterwards.
There is a tobacco shop seconds away from the Bali & a Mercadona (supermarket) a 5 minute walk away for essentials.
We were half board so has breakfast & dinner.
All the food was great, especially the desserts😋.
Loads of entertainment on during the day & evenings for all ages.
Would highly recommend this place & can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

We love the Bali, great for kids and nice to be out of the new town. La cala has some lovey bars. Also for anyone going if you top your key card up with money at reception you then get 10% off for drinks when you pay at the bars.

My stay at the Bali was very nice. However I made mistake of being there same time as Spanish holidays. So everything was catered for them. Tea dances etc. But La Cala was a sort walk and lovely too. -

Just left the Hotel Gran Bali after 2 weeks for my 50th this hotel is amazing we did not listen to the negatives and I've had one of the best holidays ever, yes it's not in the strip area but stayed here purposely to explore that side of town, la cala is a beauty and Poniente beach a very happy bunny I am -
Tea bellyThere's not kettles etc in rooms to make a cuppa ,which was a shock but we went and bought a kettle & 2 mugs problem solved we used the mini bar as was empty to store are milk and pop in over all nice hotel didn't mind the walking and catching buses would deffo go again .
