We’re just back from hotel colon in the old town absolutely fabulous location, so peaceful, lovely rooms friendly staff could not fault it. ,it was brilliant for us because we went to the beach (no pool) right outside hotel, we went out at night so everything was on our doorstep.

Colon is the Spanish surname of Christopher Columbus so therefore translates to the Columbus hotel if that makes the squeamish feel any better.

This property is 1 minute walk from the beach. Hotel Colon offers Mediterranean Sea views from its setting on Benidorm’s Poniente Beach, next to Elche Park. This hotel features rooms with balconies and a restaurant.

Nice little hotel on dove park, we stayed b&b, you need a room on the front, very basic but clean and functional. Safety deposit boxes are half way up the stairs but we’ll secure. I’d stay again it’s in a great location and I’d recommend.

I haven’t stayed there myself but a friend stayed there when we were in Benidorm in September. His room was on the front overlooking the sea, it had a double bed and a fridge. He was on the top floor and said he was very happy with it ?
