Just back from a 2wk stay in the Alpha Apts ..very basic but everything needed for a SC holiday..Great location just across from the Rio Park and the Wookey Hollow and Tommy's is just at the corner of the Alpha and if you like Indian food there's a restaurant just minutes down the road called the MUMTAZ...
can get an iron and a hairdryer from reception at no charge also theres an area outside to sit if you can't stay in the sun....it's a £60 deposit for 3 adults. ..Great pool area and easy access plenty of sunloungers and parasols and the food is good especially the breakfasts...Highly recommend it 👌 👍. Just to add to my comment the AC is expensive..be careful

24 hour reception food served all day staff friendly near strip and outdoor market rooms basic but equipped with all u need have stayed twice here next to tommys bar but u cant hear anything drinks reasonable

We've just stayed last week at alpha for the 4th time, it's a lovely place to stay . The breakfast are lovely and the staff is friendly.
The sofa bed was wide enough to sleep on with a pull out bed underneath.

Alpha apartments are lovely and clean the pool has just been refurbished as have the outside areas

We stayed in them from 29th dec to 5th Jan this year, very basic but clean large balcony we eat in them every day and there belly buster breakfast is amazing for 3euros 50cents,John David and Oscar who cooks the food and serves the bar is amazing very friendly.
They cleaned and changed sheets on beds weekly, towels twice a week but if you ask they will give you clean ones. As they’re apartments they don’t get daily cleaning like many hotels but There is a broom, mop and bucket to do your own cleaning.
I would stay there again.

We've stayed a lot over last 20 years , perfectly placed , pool view ones have very large balcony leading from both living room and bedroom , kitchen with microwave, kettle , toaster , oven, double ring , fridge , full bathroom , Aircon in bedroom, living room , 1 euro an hour , bar area down stairs , good pool area with sun beds , sun all day long , basic but clean n safe. Some have washing machine lower floor end apartments with pool view I

We spent 10 nights in September, really nice apartments, all staff very friendly and we have booked to go back again next September

We stayed there in early march apartments are fine clean and tidy with a big balcony very quiet area but not far from the strip titanic bar is near by as is the wooky hollow

I've stayed at Aplha hundreds of time, infact back soon, situated just over road from Rio Park on the corner, the apartments are big and are still self catering

I like these apartments. Good points, cheap, clean, huge balcony, free laundry facilities, good location.
Not so good points, sunbeds are rock hard and back breaking, pool is quite deep all round, if you’re 5”5 or less you won’t be able to touch the bottom. You pay €1/ hour aircon so in the summer months can be €5-€7 per day. These aren’t very suitable for young children as no entertainment facilities.

There’s a free laundry downstairs for apartments without a machine, and if you ask reception they will lend you a portable radiator free of charge,

Recently stayed at the Alpha apartments at the end of March/April. Weather was terrible so the rooms was cold. They have radiators but were only on early morning and late evening and was only warm.
Beds are hard.
Bonus though some rooms have a washing machine so was very handy with the kids washing.
Full kitchen set up, everything you need.
Plenty of English TV channels and massive balcony.
You get what you pay for. No entertainment but pool table and a few arcade machines near the bar downstairs which also makes food/snacks at good prices.

Good wee karaoke bar next door ( Tommy's)
Quiet enough location but close enough to everything
I'd book alpha again
