We are in Benimar apt now, lovely and spacious, clean, ten minutes walk into Old Town between 15 and 20 mins to the new town. We are not disappointed. Lots of places to eat and drink.
WiFi Zone is only in reception area, it's not manned, need to go to hotel olympia for the key which requires 150 euros/pounds deposit refundable when you take your key back

Haven’t used them for a few years, but we liked them, location was between New and Old Town, aircon was very good, lovely clean apartment, bit old fashioned, but would use again if a good price.

So, here's our experience up to now. Arrived 1.30 am. Transfer dropped us at The Poseidon Palace which is a couple of minutes' walk from the Benimar apartments. Asked in reception if they keep the keys...No... so taxi to the Olympia to pick up keys, need to pay €150 refundable deposit, no problem as site advised to be paid by card. Oh no cash only, now that could be a problem as normally, we arrive with just enough to see us through the first couple of hours. Luckily between us we managed, then taxi back. We were told we also have to return keys to the Olympia, not good when you have heavy cases to drag about. Holiday not off to a good start, hopefully it improves.

Benimar apartments are the best when we go, we stay there every time they are in a nice quiet location no noise at night, 10 min walk to the strip and 5 to old town, beach 5 min walk

My wife and I use the Benimar apartments about 3 or 4 times per year. A month in January and the rest throughout the year. The apartments are spacious and we'll eqipped. We always request apt 4A as the balcony is large and I can watch the world go by. The building is gated. The building and surrounding area is kept in an immaculate condition. A 5 minute stroll to the start of the 'new town's but not the noisy big and a 5/10 minute stroll to the old town. We would (and have) recommend these apartments. Have a great holiday everyone?

My next visit in october will be the third in twelve months, the apartments are very spacious, with a large living area with two sofa beds, coffee table, small wall mounted tv and a dining table for four,the bedroom has two single beds and fitted wardrobes, the bathroom is a good size with a bath/shower so people with disabilities may struggle,its a gally kitchen with hob no oven, and a microwave, kettle etc,on the side balcony next to the kitchen is a washing machine and hand washing sink, there are another two good size balconies two,so all in all the benimar is good value, mobility scooters are charged at the entrance to the building on the outside,and with it being a gated entrance from the street its pretty secure, there's a small pool with a childrens paddle area and also sunbeds and chairs you help yourself too, its location is great for the old town some 3/4 minutes walk away,and is situated on the main street so coach drop off/pick up is virtually opposite at the Poseidon hotel, its about an eight minute walk to the beach ,with an incline for 100 yards but then its flat all the way

One-Bedroom Apartment

Caleb - The Benimar apartments are excellent. Stayed here in 2012 in 4A. And then 4B in August 2015. I prefer the B apartments, they are pretty much the same layout but they have 2 balconies. One overlooking the pool area at the side of the building and another at the front of the building with views up and down the main road. They are in a quiet part of Benidorm which is good. Less than a 10 minute walk to the old town (turn right coming out of the gate and it's a straight road into old town). 10 mins walk takes you into the lively new town area. Go across the road when you come out of the gate and take the road down on the left at the Poseidon hotel. Then keep walking towards the new town.

The apartments are spotless and have a washing machine. Only 3 apartments per floor and only 9 floors so it's nice and quiet and it doesn't allow stag or hen do's. There's a €150 breakages/key deposit to pay on arrival but it's returned the day you leave on inspection of the room. You pay for the safe as well and get the key deposit back before you leave (€10). Wifi is free and worked ok most of the time! The receptionist works very hard and all areas of the apartments are kept spotless, including the pool area. The pool isn't big but it's fine for the size of the building. There were always free sun beds when we stayed.

For a Mercadona supermarket turn right going out of the main gate and then first right again (road at side of pool) walk up to the car garage and take the road to the left. Keep walking up that road for a couple of minutes and the supermarket is on the left. It's about a 5 minute walk.

The apartments aren't cleaned during a weeks stay but there's a brush and a mop and bucket, doesn't take long to give it a quick clean. The washing machine is there so you can wash your towels and bed clothes or you can get a clean set of towels and bed clothes from reception. We got extra towels and we weren't charged for it. There's a large clothes dryer on the balcony. There is a good bathroom with bath and shower. The shower is great and always had plenty of hot water. The bedroom has two twin beds, large cupboard and it has aircon. The living room has two sofa beds and dining table with 4 chairs and a large storage unit and also aircon and a TV with English channels. The aircon works great. The balconies have a table and 4 chairs on the one at the front and clothes dryer on the side one. Apartments at the back have one large balcony with everything on it. In the kitchen there is everything you will need. Glasses, pots and pans, 4 ring cooker, toaster, kettle and iron and plenty of utensils. The washing machine is in a small utility area off the kitchen.

If you are arriving late you pick your keys up at the Poseidon hotel across the road. There will be a message at the gate telling you what to do.

Check out time is at 10am and there is a secure luggage storage room for people with a late flight home.

I would definitely recommend the Benimar apartments.

Deirdre O'Donnell Brodie - Beautiful big spacious apartments, no bar but a small bar opposite which closes of a Sunday, a bit too far back from the strip for us but if you like quietness would definitely recommend them.
