it’s up a hill. You may not be dropped at hotel, it depends on coach driver as the road to it is a bit narrow. If you know Beni, the hotel is the far end of Dove park away from walking street and new town. Very Spanish,, which is reflected in the food choices also. If you are not good mobility wise it’s probably not a great location for you.

Stayed in the hotel cabana aka the Barry manilow hotel in November with a friend all inclusive .

When we arrived I was a bit worried as the hotel was just full on Spanish and older Spanish too (turns out it’s some kind of annual holiday ) but don’t let that put you off there were probably less than a dozen English people in the hotel and we got to talk to all of them so made plenty of friends. the Spanish weren’t don’t really drink (just coffee) so there were no queues at the bar at all. We were all inclusive just the usual local spirits and a couple of cocktails so absolutely fine. Bottles of water too included to me which is a plus as I’ve stayed in all in where the water is charged so it’s deffo a benefit as no fridge in room so just grabbed a few bottles to put in room each day.

The best thing about the hotel was the sun around the pool - it’s the first hotel in Benidorm I’ve stayed where the sun isn’t blocked at any part during the day - so if you want to sunbathe all day it’s great. Sun beds were dire a dozen but then it was November so so done know if it’s as easy in the summer.

Location wise is poniente beach end less than a five minute walk to the beach (up steps so no good if mobility issues) then another five minutes along the beach into the old town (the cobbled bit) proper . I tend to go down the strip / new town so that is a good little walk / bar crawl but only a few euros back in a taxi . There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel though down poniente beach and towards the old town so you don’t need to venture that far. If you know where the Burger King is then the hotel is literally 2 mins away from there . Lots of shops bars restaurants etc within a stones throw of the hotel .

For me the downside of the hotel was the food - probably the worse choice of food I’ve ever had on a all inclusive holiday and I’m usually all in trying different things but there just wasn’t enough choice or options - one night it was stewed rabbit and trust me it tasted grim. (The bread was nice though)

The staff were friendly enough the room was clean - towels changed everyday - like I said no queueing at the bar as although the hotel seemed full the Spanish weren’t really drinking . We went out of an evening but what I saw of the entertainment it was Spanish focused so wouldn’t be relying on that.

Would stay there again if just looking for a base and not planning on actually staying in the hotel for long periods of time - the all inclusive I booked on love holidays was as cheap as most other hotels room only so was happy just to get a few drinks in the day by the pool and before I went out out .

Good hotel, clean towels and bedding changed and rooms cleaned everyday, good pool and bar/cafeteria area, did not eat dinner in the hotel but had breakfast it was ok. Two ways up to the hotel up a slight hill .

This hotel is 10 minutes walk from the beach. Located 700 m from Poniente Beach and close to Benidorm's centre, this hotel has a great swimming pool and buffet-style restaurant.

Spend the afternoon soaking up the glorious Spanish sun on Cabana's terrace, where you will find sun loungers and parasols. Meanwhile, children can play safely in their own pool before you enjoy a refreshing dip yourself.

Enjoy breakfast in the self-service restaurant, which serves a good range of hot and cold international dishes.

After meals, take a refreshing drink in the bar within the large terrace area. You can also relax in the TV lounge with inviting sofas, and there is free wireless internet in public areas.

During the summer there is also an entertainment programme for children. There is music and dancing every night.

The bright bedrooms of the Hotel Cabana are all exterior-facing and the majority boast private balconies.

Paulee Wicki. Food and entertainment was bad. the pool and bar was great. If you stay on a high floor great views of sea. It is far out from the nightlife but a walk down hill and there are plenty of shops and bars, One tip the coach drops off at the bottom of a hill, we had to walk about 15 mins up and around with all our luggage and my 80 year old Dad. There is a shorter way up a lot of steps but was barricaded off , not sure if they open now but hope so for you. Have a great holiday.
Linda Kelly - In the old town, clean hotel, food disgusting, entertainment was mostly Spanish.
Marie Prout - Hotel itself is fine but food is awful !! We walked every day along to Levante beach front it doesn't actually take that long and it is a nice walk.
Tracy Mckenzie - I've stayed here. The food is awful and it's about 4km? from the centre! The pool is nice though
