Had two weeks in May/June. Clean, friendly. No need to rent safe as door uses real key that is left at reception (which is open 24 hours). Wifi is not good in upper floors, I used my laptop in the lounge. Never saw the bar open. Good continental breakfast with pastries etc. Clientele is older Spanish mainly. Melina swimming pool has no sunbeds, but roof has solar lounge cubicles accessed by a passcard, which I didn't try to get. Single rooms have half a bath tub! I think all rooms have a balcony. Was quiet in the room except for the bin men's strange hours of work! Neighborhood real Spanish feel. Hotel staff have some English.....

We stayed here as we had a late flight and just wanted somewhere cheap to stay for one night. Hotel is ok, clean and basic and good location in old town and we even had a continental breakfast included. We also went to their sister hotel to use the swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

The Celymar is 5 minutes walk from the beach. This family-run hotel offers free WiFi, 24-hour reception and a bar. It is situated just 200 m from Benidorm’s Poniente Beach. Each simple, air-conditioned room has a private balcony.

The functional rooms at Hotel Celymar are decorated in warm colours and have tiled floors. All rooms include a TV and a private bathroom.

Meals are served in the buffet restaurant of Hotel Melina, located a 5-minute walk away. Guests of the Celymar also have access to the Melina’s outdoor swimming pool and hot tub.

Please note, air conditioning is only available in July, August and September.

The Celymar is only 400 m from Elche Park and Benidorm Old Town. Buses to Alicante and Valencia stop within a 5-minute walk of the hotel.

Donald Cowan Bem - Stopped there about 4 and half years ago, nice hotel, wasn't struck on breakfast, mostly went out for a English breakfast, more Spanish than English (not a complaint) would stay there again but enjoy a wander to different hotels, don't think you will be disappointed.
