  • The best we have stayed in

We've been lucky to stay here a few times and have stayed in normal and superior. The Superior rooms are a bit wider, you get water, bath robe, slippers and a welcome gift. Superior rooms are on all floors as I wont get in a lift 🙈 so we;ve always stayed on low floors, all rooms have a balcony, face the sea, obvs the higher the better for the view and all have a kettle, tea, coffee and a fridge. Fab hotel x

The Superior rooms are the middle two rooms on every floor. If you are standing at the front of the hotel and look up you will see the middle two rooms have 3 doors to the balcony where the other rooms have 2. Hence, the rooms are wider as are the balconies. We had a superior room on floor 4 opposite the lift.
  • Lovely hotel

    ,

Stayed 10 nights in The Don Pancho.
The hotel has a lovely entrance and lobby area.
The room we stayed in (6th floor) are nothing really special but do have large wardrobes with more hangers than a lot of hotels. The safe is an extra costing €19 for our ten days. It works using one of the room keys so easier than remembering a code.
It's nice sitting on the balcony over looking the pool which has a lot of sunbeds and towards the sea.
The bathroom contains a large shower , toilet and bidet , and sink.

Entertainment every night, some acts better than others , the same as anywhere, drink prices are reasonable. We only stayed B &B so can only comment on the breakfast which was lovely. A large variety of food to choose from.
Would have liked to try the afternoon tea but unfortunately never found the time to do it. The restaurant staff and housekeeping work extremely hard. At check in we had to wait for our room for 20 minutes but this was no great hardship.
Should have got two blue tickets on check in for pool towels which we didnt get or realise about, but when we wanted towels, we were given them without any problem.
A perfect location for the beach and the shops.
  • Michael Driscoll - Breakfast at the Don Pancho

    ,

For €10 non residents can enjoy breakfast at the Don Pancho, this includes everything. Omelettes made to order, Champagne, full cooked breakfast, pastries, cereal, fruits, cold meats, bread of all types. Clean and pleasant place. Ok not for everyday but for the occasion you want to spoil yourself it’s the best in Benidorm I believe. Just some of the counters I photographed below.

  • Best Sunday Lunch

    ,

We go here for Sunday lunch, excellent place , better than these 7/8 Euro caffs knocking out a plate of stuff floating in Bisto.
  • Absolutely beautiful

    ,

Arrived at the Don Pancho at 11pm tonight (Saturday) omg walking into the foyer was like something I’ve never seen before absolutely beautiful our first time staying here so I’m looking forward to having a good old nosy tomorrow and the staff are so helpful I’m sure I’m going to really enjoy staying here.
The rooms are really nice to and a great sea view, location is amazing
Sorry to keep going on but I really am in awe of what I’ve seen so far.
  • Lovely Hotel

    ,

We have just returned home after our first time staying in the Don Pancho. It is a lovely hotel, we were blown away by the very imposing entrance and beautifully decorated lounge and bar area. The pool area is amazing because, although fronting the busy Mediterraneo Avenue it is in a lovely setting and is so quiet and peaceful, and the pool bar is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink or snack, and, of course, the famous afternoon tea.
The rooms, although on the small side, have everything you need, comfortable beds, small seating area, lounger chairs on the balcony, well-appointed bathroom with walk-in shower, and the sea views are amazing. Everywhere is spotlessly clean.
The entertainment lounge is very comfortable, and the entertainment itself is very professional with an excellent sound system.
Our only issue with this gorgeous hotel is the restaurant. We can't fault the breakfasts (apart from no pancakes, but that's just me!), but there was always a large queue in the evenings, which started at 6.30pm, and a rush to get inside when the doors opened at 7pm. The restaurant doesn't seem to be big enough to accommodate all the guests, and some were left waiting for a table. The restaurant staff, with one or two exceptions, were not very friendly and only grudgingly helpful, but, to be fair, there needs to be more staff on to clear and reset tables. After reading glowing reviews about the food, we were disappointed because, although we stayed for 3 weeks, after the first couple of days, and the appearance of salmon on two consecutive days in the middle week, it seemed to be the same old thing for the evening meal. We were also disappointed that the dress code has been relaxed to no sports/beachwear in the evening, so as far as I'm aware, there are now no hotels in Benidorm where you are expected to dress up a bit for dinner, which is what we like to do. There are plenty other excellent hotels in Benidorm for those who prefer to be more casual on holiday, and I don't think that the Don Pancho is going to lose any business by maintaining it's high standards.

The best hotel in Benidorm I've stayed at 20 plus hotels this wins hands down!! The food is just gorgeous and I’m very fussy, everywhere is carpeted so no noise, oh without sounding snobby no riff raff either!
