Sunday Lunch at the Don PanchoSunday Lunch at the Don Pancho Hotel
As with all things in life you get what you pay for. The dinning room is beautiful, fully laid tables, wonderful staff who are all friendly and who genuinely look as though they are enjoying their work.
This is a buffet so you can help yourself to as much as you like, just make sure you don´t over do the early courses as you will need some room for dessert.
The selection of salads is excellent, I am not a big salad lover but still came away with a full plate. A choice of two wonderful soups, bread and croutons.
The main course, a good selection of meats, carved to order, a massive selection of vegetables including – sprouts, green beans, cauliflower dishes, carrots, potatoes and even something a bit different such a peas in sour cream and tempura vegetables, all of which were hot and perfectly cooked, if you are a vegetarian you can easily fill your plate, Yorkshire puddings and plenty of gravy and various sauces to enhance your meal if you wish.
Desserts, again a massive choice everything from ice.cream to baked apples, good old traditional apple crumble and custard, beautifully laid out to tempt you to try a bit of everything, lots of fresh fruit also available.
After that you can sit back and enjoy a coffee on the terrace.
All in all an excellent choice for a Sunday Lunch in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.

Carol Barclay - We just came back from Don pancho last week, stayed there many times and this was the first time since refurbishment! It was first class! The food is amazing so much choice and the restaurant staff cannot do enough for you, reception and housekeeping are the same, they have a guy by the pool who makes sure people aren't reserving sunbeds and will gladly help anyone move beds or umbrellas, we have always paid a bit more to stay there but we don't mind because you get what you pay for and this hotel is certainly worth it.... And the views are amazing... Enjoy
Cathrine Gilyead - Best hotel in Benidorm, excellent food, great staff, all round class act.
Doreen Doreen - Been going to the Don Pancho for 20 years wouldn't go anywhere else.
Andrew Wickett - My gaffer stayed there in July and she loved it,superior room dressing gown, slippers, fresh fruit.
Jane Short - Brilliant hotel, rooms, food, housekeeping all fantastic and even better if you upgrade to superior room on the 17th floor, well worth the extra €20 per night. Enjoy ️
Steven Paul - we have stayed there twice , its very very nice , no rough people , no noise at night as the hallways are carpet you dont hear folk running around , food is really nice and always hot unlike some places .
Michelle Watson - Stayed here in July i have stayed all over Benidorm but don pancho defo the best worth the extra money booked for next July.
Graeme Mackie - Best ever, not the cheapest but certainly shows why its a top 4 star hotel & stunning now after refurb & food is lovely & total faultless in my opinion, been there three times in 14 months.
Dennis Sinned - I had 5 weeks there, December Jan this year 3 weeks then Feb for 2 weeks, nice hotel clean, good beds and rooms, best hotel food in Benidorm,, 95% English food,,,,,shame about the entertainment,,,i would stay there again.
Laurence Irving - Don Pancho is very nice but for me I found dressing for dinner a bit much whilst on my holiday, only a personal thing I might add, food and rooms very good entertainment a little poor I'm afraid and was when we went aimed at the locals, but of course it's always a question of personal taste.
Missing Benni already got home today after 9 nights at this fabulous hotel, staff lovely especially Nicole on reception very helpful lady always greeted us asked how our day had been, room spotless great view from the 16th floor, food superb loads of choices would recommend this hotel 1st class definitely be back.
Lesa McVicar Lofts - Stayed there in February, beautiful hotel, staff very friendly and in my opinion one of the best hotels for food.
Pete Errington - There last week. Fabulous near everything. Great staff fantastic room and though we only had breakfast it was spot on.
Graeme Mackie - The best hotel in my opinion, not the cheapest by a long shot but you get what you pay for, high quality & high standard every time.

At the Hotel Don Pancho we always strive to improve the experience of our guests ; our continuous improvement culture is part of our hotel’s DNA.
For this reason, it is a great pleasure to inform you that next year the hotel will close its doors for just one month, from November 17 to December 16 of 2019 (both included), to carry out a series of improvements in the rooms and common areas. We are convinced that these upgrades will make your future stays with us even more enjoyable and comfortable.
Among the improvements that we will carry out during these 30 days are: a brand new independent AC/Heating system in every one of our rooms, brand new ceilings and lighting in the entirety of the Lobby Level, complete refurbishment of the Lobby Level bathrooms, and the conversion of the few remaining bathtubs to walk-in showers.
Even though we could have conceivably completed these improvements while keeping the hotel open, we opted to close it as we wanted to avoid the slightest bother to our guests. We are committed to preserving peace and quiet in the Oasis of Peace that is the Don Pancho.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during our closure; when the Don Pancho re-opens, it will be better than eve

It's an amazing hotel. The food is excellent. Plenty of choice. It's spotlessly clean.
The entertainment is not that exciting, but you are really close to everything, so plenty to choose from.
The staff are really helpful.
No kettles in room, but on the 2 occasions we stayed there we did not find this an issue.
One of the best hotels in Benidorm.

Brilliant hotel we are staying there at the minute food is super and there is a good choice as it is buffet style.
Entertainment in the hotel is not bad it is as you would expect cheesy and fun. You don’t have far to go if you want to see some of the tribute acts it is literally a two minute walk to the next street
There are no kettles in the room.
Superb hotel. Central location for entertainment and beach. Very clean and modern. Very friendly staff across the board. The food is exceptional and varied. Even the evening entertainment was quite good.
We stayed over Christmas and the 7 course Gala dinner a first class (seated and served to us, not buffet style).
We've read many reviews on this hotel saying it's the best in Benidorm. We've stayed at many hotels in Benidorm and now we know it definitely is the best by a long way and will be highly recommended.
Stayed here 3 times .. 4th hopefully in March .. It is a 'quiet' Hotel that has a lot of visitors that want to be looked after , but not 'spoiled' .. The Staff are so Professional , and are courteous and helpful .. The rooms are always kept immaculately clean .. Every room has a balcony that is 'shaded' from the next, allowing for 'Privacy' .. The balconies all face the sea (nice Sun-trap) ... The food is exceptional .. I am not really a breakfast 'fan' .. But You are allowed to choose lunch as an option to dinner .. I did this on several occasions , because I don't like to eat too late in the evening .. Check in & Out is so quick .. Reception will help You with every need .. Entertainment nightly (if not to taste there are so many options around) .. For bargains on 'booze' El Barill is a Supermarket within 50 metres of Hotel .. Also Florida Bakery is next door if anyone requires a freshly made Baguette or Roll to order .. Going back to the Hotel itself the decor is amazing & beautiful .. The atmosphere is 'so relaxing' .. I am a Solo traveller .. This is a 'Gem' .. Hoping to be back for a few days in Feb/March . ??
Wayne IsaacNice hotel ! The food is good but most of the hotel guests are there to die, the entertainment in the hotel is crap, that doesn’t stop the live ones getting up and waltzing to any type of music. Most of the old guests are miserable and ignorant! That’s the honest truth! But there again it’s a good base.
Beryl HaddockOne of the best hotels in Benidorm. Booked there for April. Been a few times and it’s top quality. Don’t be put off by one persons negative comments. The entertainment has improved recently, they try to cater for everyone. Food is the best.
Susan FyldesWas there last week. Staff very attentive. Lovely heated pool. Food good although I was expecting more for the gala night! Apart from a glass of cava and a lady playing an instrument it was just like any other night. Watched Pablo Bloom and a queen tribute. Would definitely go again (if I won the lottery) ?

Fabulous hotel, great food and staff some of the friendliest I’ve come across
This hotel is our favourite, we have used many hotels in Benidorm, but in our opinion, none compare to the Don Pancho
We stayed here for the first time in April 2018, by far the best place we've stayed in Benidorm! The whole hotel is spotless, the rooms have everything you need, the staff can't do enough for you, the food is fab, pools are great, always available sunbeds and even though it's smack bang in the middle of the nightlife, you barely notice it.. there wasn't any stag and hens either so it was always peaceful by the pool ?
Christine Stonier - 5th June 2018
Lovely hotel food excellent staff very friendly maybe entertainment could do better but we went out at night other than that can't fault the Don Pancho.
Jackie Stanley - 5th June 2018
Very comfortable hotel - one of the best in Benidorm. Not the biggest pool area but okay. Perfect location as just off the main strip so easy to walk back to as many people about but always be street wise and safe.
Linda Fletcher - 3rd May 2018
Just back from a week in Don Pancho. Fabulous hotel ! Food superb and fantastic selection, room had fridge walk in shower , great view, just faultless. All staff just lovely and efficient, they work very hard Also loved the entertainment, wouldn't go to any other hotel now and I have been in many in Benidorm.
Stayed in January and me and the wife absolutely loved it.Fabulous hotel, food in the restaurant some of the best I have had in a hotel in Spain. As for the staff, could not fault any of them and all so friendly,a credit to the hotel x
Marlene Gemmell Phillips - 9th March 2018
Just back from Don Pancho best hotel I have ever stayed at in Benidorm expensive but worth every penny x
Susan Metcalfe June 28th 2018 Nothing dissapoints at this hotel,it may not be cheap, but the food and service makes it worth every penny.
Alexandra Getliffe June 6th 2018 Massive thank you to Rodriguez at the Don Pancho hotel for showing my mum, step dad and me round the hotel and rooms prior to our stay. My step dad is registered blind and I explained it would help him get an idea of what to expect when he comes after all it was 50 years ago when he last stopped there. He has limited sight in one eye so able to get bearings. He didn’t hesitate to offer a tour. Looking forward to our stay. Here at the moment brilliant hotel, food great rooms spotless all facing the sea. Excellent friendly staff and service well deserved No 1 hotel. Many guests return year after year. Central location but no noise whatsoever. Great walk in showers and fridges in all rooms.
Central but upmarketAdult's only hotel that attracts an older, more affluent clientele.
Peaceful pool area raised one story up from street level. Ample sunbeds, and the lifeguard remove unattended towels mid-morning to ensure fair distribution.
Centrally located, so close to beach and bars.
Don Pancho2nd time at the Don Pancho. It definitely deserves it's number 1 rating. Location, Food, Staff, Accommodation all excellent. The only thing I would say it's not cheap. But if you want quality then I suppose you have to pay that bit extra.
