Booked club rooms, yes you pay a little bit more than you do for the basic rooms but you got so much with that.
On arrival to the hotel we were shown to The Club check in desk. It was really busy but we were dealt with quickly. You are informed about what floor you need in the lift, told about meal times & where you go to the restaurant. You dont pay for the safe its free of charge. Your fridge in your room is topped up daily with bottled water which was great. You had a sofa in the room so it felt a little bigger than any other hotel room we have stayed in before. Hotel & rooms are very clean & towels changed daily & beds made too. Being a club guest you get to use The Oasis room. There is a bar with a few spirits, cans of soft drink, lager & soda water, along with fruit juices, tea, coffee & hot chocolate. Newspapers, magazines, books, games & TV with dvd player. Then you also get to use the Roof Terrace. Nice Bar, sunbeds which are comfy & a few tables with chairs & a lovely pool, not a large pool but great to dip into to cool off. Views are breathtaking. You also get to use the other bars & facilities in the hotel. Its adults only too.
Restaurant you could choose where you sat, cava, wine & bottle water available, food was excellent. In my opinion it was good. Something for everyone. We will be returning to this hotel & we will book The Club Rooms again. 5 out of 5

Sue Clarke June 2015 Here's my review of the Flamingo Oasis and our week out and about in Resort the first week of June. (Sorry it's so long but I thought it might be informative especially for anyone staying at the Flamingo Oasis for the first time)
We stayed at the F/O at the beginning of June for a week. Our Son has 2 weeks holiday at Spring bank where most schools only have a week so we were really surprised to see so many Children. We enjoyed our stay but I would imagine in the main school holidays it could be a bit overbearing.
Check in went smoothly despite what i'd read on here about having to wait ages. Perhaps it was because we'd booked independently as I witnessed long queues when a bus load of Thomsons guests arrived. We hired a safe which I think was €21.50 for the week with an €8 returnable deposit. We also paid a deposit of €12 for the remote control for the tv.
We were allocated room 806 which had a pool view. There was a small airier on the balcony so no need for a washing line. The room was spacious with twin beds and 2 x sofa beds. The bathroom had a double sink, full bath with a shower above and there was also a bidet and a hairdryer too. There was lots of hanging space in the bedroom as well as plenty of drawer space.
The negative thing was that the mirror was on the wardrobes with no plug socket nearby so if you're like me and like to dry your hair in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom it'd be best to take a stand up mirror with you or an extension lead obviously as well as your own hairdryer too.
There was no fridge in the room or kettle but we didn't expect one
The lifts were generally ok but at times we did have to wait a little while. (No way as bad as we'd heard)
The dining room was rather manic at times which was a little off putting as I prefer tranquility whilst I'm eating especially when I have my Evening meal but hey it is a family hotel so I suppose it was only to be expected.
I found the food on the whole very good. There was an excellent choice of everything including a vegetarian section and a carvery every night.
The dining room staff work incredibly hard to make sure everything runs smoothly but this was spoilt at times by children running and dropping food.
Breakfast is 8am-10.30am Lunch 1pm-3pm Dinner 7pm-9.30pm
In the main bar, the staff were generally nice although one or 2 of them did lack service with a smile. The ones who were nice including Wellington who's been there for ever and Jack the English guy as well as a few others who went out of their way to make you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. It was good to see that you are allowed Strongbow cider on draught as part of the all inclusive as I sometimes like a long drink but the San Miquel can be a little gassy and repetitive. A good tip if you like "real coffee" is to ask for Por la maquina" which is coffee made with real beans. They have a coffee machine in the main bar which is like the ones you get in the restaurants but in the back they have one that makes fresh coffee which they use mainly for the Spanish but you only have to ask. If you like a strong coffee with only a drop of milk then ask for Cafe Cotado. This is also sometimes made with a drop of condensed milk. (It's very nice)
There is a gym and a massage rooms are on the lower ground floor. I decided to treat myself to a massage and full facial on the 2nd day we were there and it was wonderful, Well worth the money. I think it was around €40.00. There are lots of other treatments available too. Best to book the day before with the lovely Spanish masseuse. She made me feel very much at ease and I came out feeling really relaxed.
The daytime entertainment was very good. The animation team worked very hard and there was something for everyone whether you were 8 months or 80!
The pool area wasn't too bad for sunbeds and whatever time of day we went, we always got one but I would imagine this could be very different in the peak season.
The music was a little loud around the pool at times but in fairness we did usually end up under the speakers (perhaps that's why we always got a sunbed.
There is a separate snack bar area with tables and chairs which is mostly shaded. Some people were complaining that they couldn't take food back to their sunbeds but I could understand the hotel policy regarding this as it would more than likely create a mess which would be left for the staff to sort out.
If you like crazy golf.... don't miss out on the little course which is situated up the metal steps at the side of the pool tables on the terrace past the main bar. There's no charge but you do have to hand a room key in at reception for the clubs and balls as a way of deposit. There's also a quiet adult area up there too which has a little bar and sunbeds. It opens at 11am.
The evening entertainment wasn't really for us, we did stay for a couple of shows but preferred to go out mostly over the road to the Tropical bar and The Rock and Roll house where we saw some excellent acts including The Cabeytu Brothers, Olly Murs, Bob Marley, Beyonce, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, The Blues Brothers Experience and a few more who's names escape me.
KATE - My husband and I absolutely love this hotel. We first went in April 2012 for our first wedding anniversary and will be having our 8th holiday here in September, oh and we've booked for next April too!
The hotel is very clean, the rooms are a really good size, the entertainment is fabulous and the staff are great. Personally, I struggle with the food a bit but I'm incredibly fussy. We tend to eat out a few times during our stay but it definitely doesn't put us off going. We have met some amazing people staying here and a few us of will be here at the same time in September, I can't wait!
The location is perfect for us too. There are a few great bars and restaurants opposite the hotel but it's close enough to town if we want to go. We don't tend to venture too far as the hotel entertainment is so good.
There are club rooms available on the top floors with a private, adults only pool, but we've never stayed up there. Couple of reasons, I don't like lifts and my husband partakes in all the daytime activities round the main pool, so no point paying the extra to stay up there.
kelly.wayne - Just back from 2 weeks at this hotel and I loved it, rooms were a decent size and very clean (maid service everyday) staff were always friendly and the animation team work really hard all day and night to keep guests entertained. My two older children loved the games room and pool. My opinion of the food and drink available was that it's just average beer was often flat and vodka orange was mixed with squash not juice! Always found something I enjoyed for dinner as there is a large variety to choose from it just wasn't as nice as the food we experienced eating outside of hotel. Nice location not too far from anywhere really. Lifts were a bit of a nightmare at times especially breakfast dinner and bed times we were told the top floor took priority and it certainly seemed that way to us, I don't mind using the stairs but 8 floors up with a pushchair was difficult! This was were just minor things though and didn't spoil our stay at this lovely hotel and I would certainly return.
Tim Ellis, June 2016 - Flamingo Oasis Hotel is my fav hotel in Benidorm. All the staff are so wonderful and it is in a great location. We always go there year after year and a number of times we may go three times a year. The food is great, with so much choice. They also put on some great entertainment at the nighttime, bringing in some professional acts. The rooms are a good size.
The only downfall is the lifts. They can be really slow when you are waiting to go up to your room.
If you have never tried the upgrade then go for it, it is great. You get an upgraded room and you get to use the top floor of the hotel where you have your own room to drink branded drinks. A great place to chill out and then you also have a sunbathing area with its own bar.
For me the Flamingo Oasis is the best hotel in Benidorm.
Kelly McClymont, July 2016 - Sad to say that we have arrived back in our hometown after a fantastic week in Benidorm staying at flamingo oasis. Cant recommend this hotel enough, fantastic entertainment every single night, plenty of choice during meal times including carved meat at tea time, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the entertainment team works their butts off from morning right through til night! Perfect hotel for young kids, we stayed with our two year old, the beach is a 10 min stroll away, mundomar (dolphin and sea lion shows) and aqualandia (waterpark) are a 2 minute bus ride with a bus stop or taxi rank right outside the hotel.
Lorraine Stevenson, September 2016 - We love the Flamingo Oasis. Been twice this year already. Going back in November. . If you don't have children with you treat yourself and book a club suite. Well worth the little extra. Make sure you book room with a whirlpool bath or you will end up in a room that is much smaller than the rest.
Lynne Llewellyn, January 2017 - The hotel is fab going back for 3rd time in April. Was there September if u like a sunbed the they let u out to the pool at 8.45 not to much of a rush in September unlike main holidays. Entertainment is fab xx
Pat 'Parry' Tunstall - January 2017 - My hubby and I have been going to the Flamingo for over 15 years now, in our eyes it's the best hotel in Benidorm, the entertainment is second to none!
Vicky Thompson - February 2017
Everyone said it was a fab hotel but we really weren't impressed. The food wasn't great & the entertainment was really poor. Getting a Sunbed in the morning was a nightmare & the lifts were sooooooo slow that it could take you up to 30 mins to get downstairs. Would only stay there again if I won a competition, but definitely would t choose to x
Nicky Carter- I stayed there with my 3 children.12/14/16.it was amazing.food room pool entertainment location. Can't fault it in any way perfect.can't wait to go back .walking distance to everywhere.
Rowena Atkinson, February 2017 - Fabulous hotel. We where there at the beginning of January and we are going for our anniversary at the beginning of next month.loved it that much.If you can afford to upgrade to the club room it's well worth the extra money, The food is good too, and I do have tummy issues ,but managed fine with the food.
Gary Barnes - Was there in January 2017, entertainment was spot on room was spot on only fault to me was the supposed snack which was actually just left overs from the previous meal apart from that tho was great staff are excellent.
Duncan Chalmers, February 2017 - Was there high season, omg busy. But off season don't know. Even when busy wife and I enjoyed it . Great entertainment team and food was good. We paid extra for the vip area and it was ace.
Rob Adams - If its just adults travelling get a club room well worth the extra money. You have your own bar with tv room & access to the roof area with pool also your own section of the dining room.
Kathy Reid - It's fantastic that's where we always go . The club rooms are very nice a bit more expensive but sometimes on offer . The main part of hotel is also good and food is lovely . Staff are all friendly we wouldn't go anywhere else ??
Laura Wheeler - We stay every year and never had any complaints , lovely clean rooms and cleaning staff can't do enough for you...
Food is ok , not the best I've eaten by any means but typical for an AI hotel...
Lots for kids to do , kids clubs , discos , golf , park etc
And also things for adults to get involved with too ...
Really good atmosphere around the pool daily with staff ...
In fact I do have one slight gripe and that is the morning sunbed rush .... I've nearly been knocked out cold more than once , it's a very serious game ?
Maureen-Bob North - Very good hotel a bit of a walk to the beach but in a good area and in our opinion the best bar in Benidorm is right opposite the fantastic Rock and Roll House.
John Bailey - I enjoyed it food wasn't the best I've ever had but always found something entertainment team are brilliant at what they do biggest let down is the huge shadows round the pool best Being club and going on the roof.
Sharon Burns - It's great. The hotel is spotless. There is lots of different choices of food every day so always something you can have. There is also a snack bar all day plus you can go into the restaurant in between serving times up til about midnight for snacks if you miss any of the times x entertainment is good x my kids loved it and never once had to ask me for anything !!

Was there for two weeks in August this year, 9 of us in total 4 adults and 5 kids , the kids loved it , the evening entertainment was fantastic best thing about the hotel I think , staff lovely, drinks at the bar great , rooms good, hotel very clean , food was good but restaurant a bit hectic, lifts hectic but we went height of season, and sunbeds ?? watched them queue from 7am , and packed tight together couldn't move, but overall had a fantastic holiday our first time in Benidorm !

I love it there. I liked the salad and also the snack bar (hot dogs were really nice) and am most impressed that if I want wine I can have a bottle with a straw :) Also I like the san miguel and strongbow. I also found the rooms comfortable and the staff on reception helpful and polite. The only problem I had with the food is that all of the puddings seemed custard based, however they looked pretty lol! I have stayed many times and can't wait to go back there in November for fiesta

We've just got back from 2 weeks and overall it was good! Our 5 kids had a blast!
The Hotel is lovely and clean, the rooms are decent and the entertainment was good BUT the food is awful, like seriously bad!
Breakfast was low quality ,lunch in the restaurant was yesterday's leftovers in gravy mostly ?
Lunch at the pool bar is the best bet, dinner was ok(ish!)but only just!
As lovely as The hotel and staff are, the food situation would 100% stop us from returning ?
Review by Andrea Jones
I stayed there in July but paid extra for the club rooms the pool top was fab no queuing for beds and the free bar on 24th floor but we had same food has everyone and yes it was all ways cold would never pay to go to the pool downstairs it was mad no beds at all x

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week, 2 weeks ago and we loved the hotel, The location is good, the food lovely, the staff are very friendly the beers yummy, we just felt very welcome. We was super happy with the hotel. I know everyone's entitled to there opinion but don´t let the bad review put you off this hotel. P.s we was that impressed we are coming back same place same time next year.

Im there now and for a treat for new year upgraded to a club suit far nicer room access to the roof top bar and our own little self serve club room you also get a fridge which is stocked with water every day and tea coffee making stuff it is an expensive upgrade and don´t do it all time as i think the standard room is more than you will need i have been staying here 3 times a year since 2006 and wouldn't stay any where else

I have stayed 7 or 8 times enjoyed every holiday. If you have extra cash going spare book the clubsuites/room you get your own private bar splash pool on rooftop private air con bar with loads of booze soft drinks wifi tv games. Private sunbeds no queues. You also have your own area in dining room.
I was poorly last time i was there staff reps were all very helpful. Food excellent bring next size clothes to travel home in lol.

Went there for November Fiesta, would never return. Possibly better at other times of the year, but Fiesta no. Wasn't allowed in for evening meal with fancy dress, not allowed to use a water machine with evening meal. Rooms are clean but basic. If you use the pool bar it's another 11€ a day in summer months. Food was mediocre. A lot of people love this hotel so it may be for you, wasn't for me or any of my party in afraid.

I have been over 40 times. I am due to return next month. I don't mind walking to other areas of Benidorm. Lovely big rooms. Food great on last visit despite complaints on here. Fantastic staff. Great for kids, couples or solo travellers.

We are here now it's a lovely hotel the staff are lovely and the rooms are really nice and clean the only gripe for us is we are here with our 18 month old & there isn't much in the hotel for his age the kids club is for 6 yrs plus but other than that no complaints

Having a super bad time at flamingo oasis was really excited after good reviews been here 2 days drinks taste terrible even strongbow taste sour. Also bad experience with food so little options of food and it's not very warm. Had uncooked chicken fried rice earlier rice was crunchy so clearly undercooked now I'm worried about the chicken in It. Complained to head chef he said that's just the way it is. Complained to reception they was laughing agreeing the food was terrible and not to every one's liking. Going to see tui rep tomorrow I'm here for 2 weeks and don't want to be paying to go out for meals everyday :( really disappointed.

We have just had a week here and it was our first stay. I would definitely go back. Hotel is clean, staff are very friendly and the entertainment in the hotel is some if the best I have ever seen. The Micheal Jackson night was superb the dancers were also excellent. I give it a 10 out of 10
Audrey Evans We stayed at The Flamingo Oasis for a week in January .
Our first holiday in Benidorm . AI ,food very good and hotel and rooms very clean.

A little shout out to the night staff of the flamingo Oasis hotel.
Late last night after leaving a show, we came across a guy covered in blood. He had fallen down and had cut his face and had a possible head injury .
We managed to get him back to his hotel , The Flamingo Oasis . The staff spotted us as we entered the hotel and immediately came over to help. They were really lovely young guys and did an amazing job of cleaning their client up and helping him . They brought him a chair and water and we were happy to leave him in their capable hands. I'm not sure that all staff in many hotels would gave been this understanding and helpful. These staff are a credit to The Flamingo hotel . I hope the management get to read this.

Hotel is smashing really good kids clubs every day in fact 2 a day. A big games room with pool tables and arcade machines for kids.Has play park as well as crazy golf table tennis air hockey plus a football pitch on roof. Great staff from maids to bars all work very hard hotel and rooms spotless. Food great some people on review pages moan about but its good. Lots of choices. Kids reps really good with kids . Kids stuff on from 11ish through to 6pm. Then at 8 i think kids disco then they have 2 different shows on every night like a band playing then maybe a magic show. Then they have a disco or karaoke up to 1am. Hotel even has cheap hairdressers in it plus shop that sells toys n gifts and other stuff like rubber rings and that .10 out of 10 .
Fantastic entertainment, average food.
This review is for a 2 week stay out of season so many comments should only be read if coming out at this time of year. The review also only covers what we used so many other things available but not commented on as not relevant to us.
Transfer very prompt, only our hotel on the coach, check in was very quick but we were first off the coach, did seem to clear quickly. Our room was poolside on the 19th floor, we requested high, and caught the sun in the afternoon. Had a great view, see the sea between other hotels.
Rooms very spacious, large twin beds and 2 X 3 seater sofas, 2 bedside cabinets with lots of lighting. There is a large 4 door wardrobe with lots of hanging space, safe is in here (€3 per day plus €6 deposit). We had a large balcony with a 4 seater patio set and pull out clothes airer. Large bathroom, bath with over shower twin basin toilet and bidet and hairdrier. There is a wall mounted tv with the main English tv stations and 2 sports channels, sky and BT (BT was not the best) that appears to change by hotel according to requirements. No kettles in room and if you want an early morning cuppa the machines are not turned on until 9.00 am, available with breakfast from 8.00 am but not able to take to rooms.
Food, for a 4* hotel, was average at best to our taste but lots of others said it was great. Breakfast bacon is streaky, crispy fried eggs, wet scrambled eggs, very mediocre sausage beans and tomatoes. Continental style, cereals and yoghurt available and varied fruits but no bananas. Lunch and evening meal had a good selection, always had a carvery option, but we found most foods bland, poorly seasoned and only warm and on many occasions had to wait for trays to be refilled. Check the coffee cups before use as a lot of times they were stained or dirty from previous use, also had quite a few dirty plates.
The best part of the holiday was the entertainment. There were 2 acts on each night, different each night for our 14 day stay, and we're many of the acts available in the Benidorm pubs and clubs. As we were all inclusive this made for a cheaper holiday as we did not have to venture out much. There were various quizzes but we did not partake so not sure how good they were. Most nights the room was over 70% full so advise getting there slightly early, most nights acts start at 9.00 pm.
There is a large bar area on the main level, also a piano bar that sometimes has late entertainment. 2 TVs show the main football matches, a good size seating area at the front if them. There are many tables and chairs in the main bar, not enough though on the cold or dull days, also many sofas and lounge chairs. There are a couple of outside terraces but these are mainly taken up by the smokers therefore we did not get chance to use, much as we would have liked to.
Outside there is a large pool and lounging area but only used a few times due to poor weather and when sun was out it was often obscured by tall buildings around, lots of musical chairs as people chased the sun. Did not use the small inside pool but talked to people who did and they said it was cold.
Staff were always very friendly, hard working and there for all your needs.
We paid £1198 for 2 adults on a 2 weeks all inclusive basis, incuding flights and transfers and as such would return if the same deal and entertainment package was available. If not, the food would mean us trying somewhere else.
Hope this helps you make your decision, but remember these are only our personal views
Not exactly the best startMy review after first day arriving 11.30am. Check in took a while staff was pleasent, room is great nicely docorated and clean. I didn't need to hire a safe. The bathroom does smell when taps are running in the sink. There was kids club entertainment in the day time but no music around the pool. The pool was a sun trap all day the hut restaurant was shaded but the pool was in the sun. I've not been in the pool yet so cant comment on that. Restaurant was open at lunch time. The food selection today was very poor not much to choose from, at lunch it was carbonara sauce and spaghetti at dinner it was pasta shells and carbonara sauce. The beef was shredded to death by the chef and what the hell is a 'meat stick' ? the food we tried was Luke warm. We did actually end up building our own sandwich. It's not like other hotels where you get different stations and chefs cooking fresh for you. Just hoping it's different tomorrow. Mattress is firm but comfortable because it gives support pillows are a little thin but there are extras supplied in the wardrobes. Entertainment tonight was OK they had a new act on to the flamingo followed by karaoke. But they also had a Celine dion tribute on in the adults only room after main entertainment. The bar staff through today have been like robots. Not a smile or any sort of pleasent atmosphere from them apart from the 2 guys that was working the bar late evening in the main entertainment room. They was great dancing and having a laugh with guests. We also experienced bad drinks. I tried a malibu and coke which was syrupy not nice at all, also tried peach snaps and lemonade this tasted so strange. It's good that you get strongbow on the all inclusive but the ones I had today tasted very sour. This is a honest genuine review of my first day here I just hope it improves as I have another 13 days left.
First visit to Benidorm.
We have just got home after our first visit to Benidorm where we stayed at the Flamingo Oasis ,as its our first time in Benidorm we can't compare it with other hotels. W e booked with Tui and our Flights and transfers were good as were the reps.
The rooms are a good size cleaned everyday the beds are comfy ,you have a shower over the bath and the water is always hot. a balcony with a view and a Air dryer and patio set so you can sit out. Theres Air con and a safe which we had to pay for but its worth it for peace of mind.
There's plenty of good food and drink on offer in the Restaurant which opens for
Breakfast 8.00 - 10.30 Lunch 1.00 - 3.00 Dinner 7.00 - 9.30 Late snacks 10.00 - 12.00
The pool is lovely and clean there are plenty sun loungers but not much shade there is a pool bar where you can get drinks and snacks while the pool is open and its shady in there.
The staff work really hard are always pleasant and eager to help anytime
Entertainment is really good we have enjoyed some smashing shows although we did miss Grease as we were watching the England Match ,which the hotel trimmed up for, I can honestly say I would definitely go back again
Hotel was lovely great foot rooms were massive plenty room check in was quick there was sandwiches and fruit and water on arrival wee got there late which was good pool was lovely and entertainment was great! Gave it a 4* because i have one fault which is some of the bar staff are very rude one man especially at the pool bar! He was constantly being rude and shouting at my autistic son and im not very happy about it at all and i wasnt the only one who noticed it another woman seen how he behaved and told me my son looked scared by the way he spoke him and he never spoke to any other kids the way he spoke to mine which is ridiculous but apart from that the hotel id great

Not for me sorry
Spent a week here, didnt really gel for me. Room waa quite big and had a good size balcony.
My/our issues were food was dire, the pool was in the shade all day (end of September) and the hotel in front i think the melia blocks the view and the sun.
Although we paid all inclussive we went out all day as the hotel was in the shade. We paid all in so we could lounge around the pool with refreshmants but not wanting to sit in the shade all day we spent money on meals and drinks we hadnt budgeted for. Its a little bit out of the main town which is fine but when your already dissapointed you had to go out all day for sun and spend money you hadnt budgeted for - the walk out of town, up the hill makes the return journey depressing.
Just got back from a week in flamingo oasis hotel food really good hotel very nice sone thing I will moan about is the sun bed are to close together and no umbrellas at the sun beds so no shade for young kids or disabled and the blocked the walk way with the sun beds so you can’t get by with wheel chairs or buggy ???? won’t use this hotel again sorry
Perfect for the family
Flamingo oasis. It's got everything for kids there's table tennis football nets crazy golf pool tables arcade machines. Entertainments good most of the time but there's the tropical and Sinatras over the road both family friendly with good acts on. You can walk to mundomar and the water park it's 15mins up the hill at the side of the tropical.
We enjoyed it food was lovely. October will be nice we went end of July because of school holidays but it was too busy for me we usually go in June. 10 mins walk to the beach 15 mins to Morgan's and the start of the strip so near everything but far enough away.
there's a card system for the drinks so you get a card each exchange the card for a drink take your empty back to get another drink when you've done take the empty back and you get a card back sometimes it was too busy to queue just to get the card back at the end of the night so we just went to reception and asked for 4 more cards
