Scott Clarke - Was there in April and we had a nearly 2 and almost 1 year old with us along with 5 others ranging from 8-14 and it was ideal for all of them! There is a couple of separate shallow play areas with pirate ships and slides etc for the wee ones who can't swim

We got back from a week there this afternoon. 3 families with 8 children ranging from 11-17. They all had an amazing time. The food is what you’d expect from a good value all inclusive, a little bit “samey” but you certainly won’t go hungry. The bar serves a good variety of drinks (soft and alcoholic) and they’re all branded (not cheap imitations) there are some lovely restaurants just down the hill (we had an amazing Italian last night). We got taxis into Benidorm (about €15 to old town & €20 to Levante) but there is a bus that stops right outside if you wanted to keep the cost down. I would definitely recommend it from personal experience. Yes it’s not 5* but then you aren’t paying 5* prices
  • Nice quiet area for a family holiday

    ,

We stayed in Magic Tropical Splash recently in La Cala Finestrat and it was excellent for the kids and only a short walk from a nice beach and loads of shops and restaurants/bars etc, definitely a nice quiet area for a family holiday, it's about a 10 min bus journey to old/new towns in Beni!

Here just now. Food not the best. Sunbeds are a nightmare, mostly gone by 7am. However, very clean and great for the kids. I've stayed at Magic Natura previously and the Tropical Splash isn't a patch on it unfortunately. I would recommend there.

Fantastic!! The rooms are massive, local beach at Calle Finestrat ( 5 mins walk ) is the best along the coast. Food great, all inclusive fabulous choice, pool and water slides offer the best outdoor facilities for kids. Need a bus to get to the hustle and bustle, immediate area.
    Outside the hotel very quiet.

Also a Mercadona supermarket (Spain`s best chain) 5 mins walk, ideal for essentials and any alcohol

Rubbish we went in April.. worst food I've ever had, everyone was complaining it was stone cold all the time. Dirty too plus nothing around we stay in a lot of hotels and by far the worst we've stayed in.

    Food not great
    Drinks are decent
Pool area good especially slides for kids
    Rooms were good as well
It's about 15€ in a taxi to what I class as Benidorm on the strip near Marina Hotel.

Tropical splash and Calle Finestrat is a fantastic all round family holiday with kids under 12. Quiet seaside resort, amazing hotel and complex with super rooms food and water slides.

We stayed last summer. Brilliant hotel. Rooms spacious but a little dated.
Fantastic snack bar with beer and wine on tap.
La Cala has a lovely little bay. Benidorm bus is just outside. You’ll have a fabulous time
