Mar Blau FB group members reviews April 2023Betty King
We are a couple in our early seventies just back from a week in Benidorm . We stayed in hotel Mar Blau and had a great week, ten minutes from old town and fifteen minutes from the strip with all the tribute shows, best of both worlds . Definitely be back again.

We stayed here in Nov. View from balcony was lovely. we did s/c. Only used it to sleep and shower . Lovely walk in shower . Reception guy very helpful. Had a extra key cut for us, as we wanted two keys instead of one, no extra charge.

It’s a dump staff are rude on reception l booked and paid for a room with a balcony the reception lady said we would all like a balcony l showed her my booking paperwork in the end l got one
Food was boring only fish and chicken every day nothing different noise was bad at night paper thin walls needs a good update I’m afraid but if you want cheap and cheerful rude and boring go here. -

It's a great spot, we stayed last Oct and back again next week. About 10 min walk to middle of Levante beach. Staff very helpful, our room and views were fab. No pool unfortunately, very basic but nice room and spotless.

It's a nice hotel. Only downside we didn't get a sea view and our balcony looked out on a back street.

We stayed for a weekend. Each to their own but NEVER again. We ended up having to eat out. They put us on floor 6 there isn't a floor 6. We were on the roof next to the lift mechanism. If all you are going to do is sleep there then I suppose it would be ok.

A pleasant little hotelWe stayed here many years ago when it was getting dated. Now the rooms have had a refurb and the rooms are nice and fresh. It is basic but clean, towels and sheets are changed regularly. The air con worked well and there was a mini fridge, we could have done with some more drawer space but there is a wardrobe and a shelf plus bedside tables which were adequate and a nice little balcony. The bar and restaurant are closed at the moment but there are lots of little bars and restaurants just outside. If you like a beach holiday and eating out this is an ideal little hotel and very reasonably priced. The staff were pleasant and helpful and I'm looking forward to staying again.

Hotel Mar Blau Stay July 2021We stayed at the Hotel Mar Blauin July this year and loved it. The rooms were clean and tidy to a high standard, the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help when needed, it’s in a lovely place right next to the beach with sea views, our favourite eatery is 50 yards away Refuel Cafe Bar and a few other bars are footsteps away. It’s peaceful yet busy at normal times. It’s owned by the Flat Friends group and they own the Apartmentos Atlantida next door which we’ve stayed in too so knew it would be a good place. Definitely will book again

Stayed there last year with my mum. tiny little hotel drinks expensive, tiny dining room with not much choice, but could always eat something. but views are amazing and very clean staff friendly, our room was on the front it was cleaned daily.
We went in April and front door got locked at midnight so the night manager had to unlock it every night. It was like doing the walk of shame. It became funny.
It's a good walk to the new town but a nice walk you can get the bus on the main road and it stops outside hotel on the way back 1.50 Euro each way pp, there are loads of nice new cocktail bars in the old town.
