We are staying here at the moment and I got a great deal so want expecting anything amazing. I have no complaints, it is spotless , staff are lovely and helpful, kids are loving it, paid 20 euros to move to a pool view for the week , I genuinely don’t know how the restaurant would have any bad reviews as literally caters for everyone and my children are ridiculously fussy , I’m honestly impressed and would happily return.

Just back and had a great time. Food was better than April. Usual buffet food. Always got something to eat. Great entertainment staff. Lovely reception, bar and cleaning staff. Spotlessly clean. It’s a 5 minute down hill walk to the bars. Maybe 8-10 to the promenade. True there are better 4* but you pay for them. A brilliant hotel with kids.

Stayed here three times previously I like the location (for old town and strip ). I've never felt wary or intimidated walking back at night stick to the main streets rather than the yellow brick rd if you are uneasy . Hotel very clean , good spacious pool area .good kids pool entertainment ok but we go out every evening .happy hour 3 times a week 5/ 6 pm .your usual Buffet type hotel food but always find something we like ..You will get loads of conflicting opinions with people's different experiences / expectations ..For the price it suits me to a T as very seldom in the hotel out and about in the day .dinner in hotel most nights then out again at night. I would definitely give it a try

We love Rio park, we hire a scooter because of mobility issues, but if your mobile it's a lovely walk to sea front, rooms spotless, friendly staff, I'm a fussy eater but got to say food was lovely.
