Fabulous menu del dia 3 course lunch at Vajra Bistro in Old Town ( same street as Paneils)
Had homemade tomato soup...hot fresh nann...the best ever Lasagne in gorgeous creamy cheese sauce...then homemade cheesecake. Absolutely stuffed - only €12. What a little hidden gem with the friendliest of service!

The other night we went to this gorgeous wee place "by accident" when we couldn't get into one of our favourites. We've walked past it so many times before never giving it a second thought. We will definitely be back the food is amazing (sorry no photos!) A fabulous menu del dia with lots of choice for €11.95 Friendly staff, small and intimate, with great background music at just the right level.
Vajra bistro. It's on carrer de la palma in old town.

The food and attention to detail at VAJRA is second to none, the place is spotless and the price is great too, I would highly recommend it.

Great restaurant with excellent food and a great wine menu. This couple are so welcoming it’s become a real addition to ‘Restaurant Street’. Calle La Palma. Just off the walking street

Been for a fantastic meal tonight at Vajra Bistro in Old Town . They offer 2 different 3 course meals including water or wine for €11.95 or €17.95 with about 4 different choices for each course . We had the dearer menu , melon and cerrano ham to start followed by fillet steak and chips ( ice cream or cheesecake but we just had coffee ) Others had lasagna or carbonara from the cheaper menu . All the food was fantastic, well presented and service was great . Would definitely recommend trying

What a fabulous restaurant, we had lunch here yesterday and will certainly be returning.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming and will make your visit special, as it was lunch time we opted for the menu del dia there are even 2 of these to choose from. The food was delicious and presented in an attractive way and the portion sizes very very good for a menu del dia, if you love prawns you have to try the fried prawn starter.

There is plenty of choice on the menu from traditional Spanish dishes to wonderful Salads, Pasta and Pizzas, so there is something for everyone.

All in all a very enjoyable experience and one we will be repeating very soon.
