Shopping in Benidorm Old Town
Many of the most popular shops in Benidorm can be found in the Avenida Martinez Alejos in the pedestrianised area of the Old Town, here you will find sports shops, clothing and shoe shops, jewellery and watch shops. When you need a break, stop in one of the many ice cream shops or grab a coffee and a cake, and enjoy people watching.
Calle Gambo - One of the most atmospheric shopping streets in the city centre, with modern clothing shops for adults and children, accessories, cosmetics and perfumes, you will also find many popular and recognisable brands at excellent prices.
More shops can be found along the Passaig de la Carretera which is a colourful street full of shops, bars and restaurants, here you will find shops selling leather goods (merca piel), also explore the shops around the Plaza Mayor.
Opening Hours - Shops in Benidorm Old Town are generally open from Monday to Saturday, with most closing on Sundays. Opening hours usually run from 10.00 to 14.00, when some close for siesta, then opening again later in the afternoon around 16.00 until late into the night with most closing around 22.30.

Levante Beach
The main areas for shopping in this area are Avenida del Mediterráneo which runs all the way from the old town to the new, along this road are various shops and Chinese Bazars, selling everything from stylish clothes and shoes to cute souvenirs, another nice area to wander is Levante beach front where there are several shops and of course lots of bars and restaurants, towards the old town this road is called Avinguida Alcoi which then leads into Avenida Madrid (the other side of Avd Europa) as you get closer to Benidorm new town.
Rincon de Loix
A very lively part of Benidorm, popular with UK tourists, here you will find supermarkets, shoe shops and Chinese Bazars and the popular Centro Comercial Mercaloix (Indoor Market) where there’s something for everyone: clothes, shoes, accessories, electronics, toys, jewellery, personalised gifts, books, local farm produce, money exchange booths, hairdressers, property rental agents and a few stands selling snacks and refreshments.
La Marina Shopping Centre - Avenida del Pais Valencia, 2, 03509 Finestrat
If you are looking for a great place to shop in Benidorm? Then look no further than the La Marina mall, just a few minute's drive from the town center. La Marina in Finestrat is the largest shopping centre in the Benidorm area and is popular with both Spaniards and visitors. Known as ‘Centro Comercial La Marina’ in Spanish.
La Marina Shopping Centre first opened on 14th September 2000 and consists of four floors: one underground floor offering completely free parking, two shopping floors and one leisure and food service floor.
La Marina shopping complex has more than 100 stores and restaurants, selling everything from clothing, shoes and jewellery to household products, children's’ toys and mobile phones. Chinese Bazars
Chinese bazars/shops are dotted all over Benidorm, you will never be far away from one and they offer good value for money, if not always the best quality. In these shops you can buy all sorts of items such as sunglasses, beach towels, sun cream, swimming trunks, swimsuits, bikinis and general clothing, gifts and souvenirs, some of the larger shops will also have household items and electrical goods.
Chinese Bazars tend to be open longer hours than the normal shops, they will be open all day and do not close for red days (bank holidays)
Top Tip - always ask for a receipt, you will not be able to exchange items without one.
Shop sales in Spain
Summer sales - Generally run between the start of July until Mid September.
Mid Season Sales - Although not quite as big as the summer or winter sales, it's also worth checking out the mid-season sales which generally take place between March-June and September-November.
Black Friday - Always take place on the last Friday in November and can last a few days in some shopping centres.
Winter Sales - Generally start on 7th January and can last until mid February.

Street Markets in Benidorm
La Pueblo Market, New Town, situated near the Pueblo Hotel. Every Wednesday and Sunday from 08:00 to around 13:30
Situated in the New town on Avenida de L'Admirall Bernat de Sarria, this is a very popular market both for tourists and locals, it offers a great mix of Spanish goods, clothes, handbags, shoes, souvenirs, gifts and snacks.
Foietes Market, Old Town - Every Wednesday from 08.00 until 13.30.
Located behind the municipal Foietes sports centre and the Guillermo Amor Municipal Stadium where local football matches are played, with more than 240 food and textile stalls.
During July and August this market does change location and this page is always kept up to date with its current position.

Second Hand/Antiques Market - El Cisne Rastro
One of the best Rastros in the Benidorm area is the El Cisne Rastro, (which in Spanish means the Swan) also known as El Cisne Antiguedades. Only 15 minutes outside Benidorm and near the towns of Alfaz del Pi, Albir and Altea, the El Cisne market is a wonderful place to spend a few hours, not just for the cheap shopping but for the food and entertainment too.
