The new skatepark in la Nucia is now finished and declared open for use.

The park of more than 3,000m2 is situated next door to the indoor football pitches, and the Onosca restaurant. It has been finished to the standards required to hold both national and international competitions, and has already been earmarked to be used by competitors preparing for the Paris Olympics later this year.

It can be used by skateboarders, roller skaters, the two wheeled scooters or BMX bikers, but no kind of motor powered vehicles are permitted. Opening hours vary depending on the day (details in the link), and entry is free.
