The provincial assembly of Alicante has just agreed to grant 1.5 million euros in aid to small villages of 2,000 inhabitants or less in our province of Alicante, to try and promote tourism. The aim is that they benefit from a slice of the income generated by the increasing number of visitors. Many of the villages are beautifully situated, on fabulous walking and cycling routes for example, but still relatively undiscovered. More details on Fresh Radio Spain, Friday 8-10am.
